My sister and I stayed in Room 1 and what a little gem. We only stayed for 2 days, but this room had everything we needed. It was spacious, extremely clean, good kitchen facilities and a small little space to sit and watch the trams go by. The owner was only a call away if you had any questions and he went out of his way to ensure your stay was great. The theme park was pretty much next door, a tram stopped outside (No noise) and the beach was across the road. If you're an international traveler, you will need to take your own shampoo etc (towels and toilet paper was provided), but I couldn't fault this place - loved it and will be Definity re-booking when back in the UK.

Wow what a lovely place so clean and comfortable .We were in apartment 1 which is on the ground floor checking in was so easy ,the owner had left the keys in a locked key box ready for when we arrived so there was no waiting around for anyone to meet you with a key it was a great idea , previous reviews mention that the sandpiper is a bit dated , but I wouldn't say so .it was very clean and exactly as described and a bargain price some hotels are very expensive , we have stayed in other apartments in blackpool and they were nothing like they advertised in any shape or form and despite reading the reviews the good ones were fabricated . So the Sandpiper is absolutely wonderful. I don't go on holiday to live in my holiday room you may as well stay at home to do that .I am not one for cooking when on holiday but if you are ,there was everything you needed to cook with the kitchen is very well ,and a nice sized fridge to keep things cool . The beds were so comfortable too we slept very well . The pleasure beach is a stones throw away ,and wetherspoons The Velvet Coaster a short walk beyond the pleasure beach . We liked the size of the bathroom too .there is a super large sink and the shower cubicle was ample with great water pressure too . There was a little area with a settee and a nice sized TV . The place was very quiet and in a quiet area of blackpool and there were tram stops just across the road . We bought a 7 day tram ticket even though we were there for 5 nights ,it was much cheaper to buy 7 days than 1 day at a time ,and you can hop and off as many times as you want and the tickets cover the buses too . If you struggle with mobility there are steps up into the sandpiper so no good for anyone wheelchair reliant etc . There were ample plug sockets too even one next to one bed and there was a nice little shelving next to the one bed where the plug socket is so I could have my Laptop plugged in whilst sitting in bed at night . Blackpool has developed a reputation over the years for being rough and full of drunks and beggars ,but the council have been spending money to rejuvinate blackpool ,new hotels ,supermarkets ,there is even a new tram station up on the northshore and building work is still going on it won't happen overnight but we noticed a big difference this time ,but it is starting to look inviting and the drunks and beggars are no where to be seen on the prom hassling you as in years gone by . There is limited parking at the sandpiper it was hit and miss for us as even the street was full of cars but we found a small spot just infront of the sandpiper so ideal ,and we left the car there for our whole stay . So if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay ,you won't go wrong with the sandpiper apartments ,we had a really lovely relaxed time .

Just returned from a weekend at the Sandpiper apartments. Parents and two teenage boys. Communication was excellent with clear instructions and Charles on hand to take any calls for questions. Parked right outside in hotel car park. Apartment has everything you need if looking for a reasonably priced weekend in Blackpool and got a NHS discount through blue light on **********. It's dated, but perfectly clean and has all the equipment you need to prepare breakfast or a snack. Constant hot water. Five mins walk from Velvet Coaster which is so cheap to eat out or have a few drinks. Five mins from pleasure beach. An Uber from central pier is less than £5 Will definitely return if we get for the same price.

just got back fro another great stay at the sandpiper room 6 1st floor great little apartment with everything we needed for our weekend stay apartment was clean and had everything we needed to cook food and clean highly recommended and already looking at booking again

I would like to write a better review for this place but, I just can’t…. The apartment itself was well equipped and had a cooker, microwave, fridge, T.V with a PS2 and games in the main hallway you could use if wanted. The bed was reasonably comfortable and clean. The first night was good apart from the apartment got very cold and the very large front window let in a cold draft, they had supplied electric heaters to plug in but, these weren’t very effective, I have severe COPD so anywhere I stay needs to at least maintain a reasonable temperature or I risk getting seriously ill. The second night (Saturday night) was awful! The apartment above me had been rented to a very large family of about 6 or 7 adults who arrived back at about 10:50pm being extremely loud, banging doors and stomping around right above my head until way after midnight! I sent the landlord a text message as had been instructed in case of any issues but, it’s now 8pm on Sunday evening and haven’t even received a reply to my message! No apologies, nothing….. for £127 for the two night it wasn’t incredibly expensive but I wish I had looked a bit longer and found somewhere more suitable, quiet and warm!

I spent two nights here with my partner last weekend. We were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the apartment. It is just past the pleasure beach, so it is fairly quiet on a night. We never had any issues, but if we had, there was a person to contact if we needed to. I highly recommend the apartments, and I will stay here again.
