Very cute tucked-away property, gorgeous grounds, we enjoyed our stay in our little bungalow, and the breakfast was great. The host at breakfast was the nicest, most helpful young man. I would have given it a 5, but light bulbs were out in the room, the bed was lumpy and the heat was not working, and the hot water went out completely.

Nice place with beautiful back court yard. The hot tub was out of service, but the location is great. Try the "love apple" restaurant next door for dinner....

Lovely older property with lots of charm and character. Very nice common spaces and excellent breakfast. Close to old town and Pueblo. Very personable staff.

Woke up with no hot water in the room. When we notified staff, they casually said that there was a problem in another room and the hot water had to be shut off for the whole property. Nobody was notified of the situation and we spent way more time trying to figure out a solution than we needed to. We understand that occasionally “things happen”, but when it does the property manager has a duty to inform guests. They utterly failed at that. Also, the in-suite coffee maker did not work. We will not stay here again and certainly will not recommend the property to anyone else.

酒店回复: Hi Joseph,We had an emergency situation and had to call a plumber in the morning. The plumber instructed us to turn off the water heater. He then promptly came over to the Inn at 8 am and left at 9:00. We informed the few guests it effected and we also spoke with you. We apologized and asked for everyones patience and understanding, and we also extended checkout times to those who needed it. Everyone else was extremely gracious and understanding...except for yourself. We wish you the best and hope that if you ever find yourself in a stressful situation that others grant you kindness, compassion, and understanding. Take care.

Very historic. Peyton checked us in - very friendly and helpful. Great suggestion for local eating! Our room needed more light and suggest a mirror over the sidebar because we were too short to see in the bathroom mirror. Didn’t have breakfast as we had to get on the road early but met the staff who were also very friendly, offering to send us with coffee toast etc

Old b b needing major facelift. Comfy bed but no air conditioning other than portable unit and tiny bathroom with one little bar of soap. Breakfast a saving grace. Not worth $160.

Not a good visit…
Did not enjoy our stay. We were booked in a room right next to the lobby, so there were people coming in and out all hours of the day and night, very noisy. We had to play music on the tv all night to drown out the sound.
Parking was very tight due to us driving a truck. The driveway was very narrow, and is shared with a restaurant next door, so you have to wait for the traffic to come through before you can go down the driveway.
The room itself was clean, however there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, no working fans, and the coffee pot spit coffee grounds in the cups when used (the light on pot said it needed to be descaled).
The bathroom was very dark, not much light. The bed was very firm, not comfortable.
Breakfast was okay, however disappointing that all of the food is shipped in from Arizona and not cooked fresh, just warmed up.
Would definitely not recommend Hacienda del Sol. There are much better options in Taos.

酒店回复: Hi!We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay! Taos is a very old area, alot of people are not use to the roads and or the Historic properties like ours. The original part of the Hacienda was built in 1804. Alot of our guests come to enjoy the Historic nature of our Inn. We have 13 rooms that range is all different shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, you booked the least expensive room, which is the smallest. The Hacienda adjoins the Taos Pueblo, which is a UNESC site, we have nothing but land, nature, and Taos mountain to enjoy between us and them. We source the best gourmet food we can for our breakfast. The only item we get from Arizona is our Tamales, because, well, they are out of this world good. We enjoy giving our guess the best food we could find and supporting small businesses that deserve the support. We wish you the best! Safe Travels.

It is a very cool cluster of special rooms, feels removed from the world, very comfortable.

Quant little place. Great staff and nice breakfast. Rooms could use an update, but had basic amenities. No hot tub despite listing. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat at the charming Love Apple restaurant next door.
