My experience there was life affirming. I am as a recent widower needed just a quiet time just to reenergize. The staff there was very helpful and was able to achieve my goal of a restful weekend. Please, stay at this place. I believe in great customer service and they went down that road. I was pleasantly surprised. location good and easy access to transportation. If you miss what it was like in 80's where hotel staff cared, stay here.

I was meant to stay here for 4 nights. For 3 nights I did stay here and it was okay. Definitely a bit dirty and outdated but nothing bad enough to make me check out and find elsewhere ...until the 4th night I looked up at the ceiling and saw bugs everywhere. Not sure what they were exactly, they flew and looked like a smaller version of moths but there were about 20 dotted around ceiling and walls. Safe to say I checked out a night early. The reception desk didn't seem massively bothered when I told them and said the only other room was directly below my room so might have the same problem (concerning that they expect this problem in multiple rooms). Wasn't offered any compensation or refund when I checked out either.

We were travelling to Buffalo to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Buffalo Sabres and decided it would be fun to spend the night. We wanted to bring our doggie too, so we needed to find a pet friendly place that would be close enough to the KeyBank Center and the Anchor Bar, where we wanted to have dinner. We found this pleasant looking hotel, which advertises itself as the oldest Hotel in Buffalo. We opted for the Double Room that came with 2 Double Beds. The price was $232 for the night including taxes and with a $25 surcharge for our dog. We had to wait a little while at check-in while the girl working the counter checked in other guests. Her name was Sam and she was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get our room keys (yes - actual keys) and check into our room pretty quickly. It was a nice room with a nicely appointed bathroom. There was no Air-Conditioning and the room was pretty stuffy, so we had to open the windows to cool it off. Later that night I had to go down to the front desk to ask for a bathtub plug as there wasn't one in the room and we wanted to have a bath - Sam was able to find one for me pretty quick. The elevator is old but fast and its obvious that there are a lot of people living in this hotel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing - as far as Im concerned it makes it quite safe. We walked down the street a couple of blocks to the Anchor Bar for dinner and then caught an Uber to see the game. When we returned we needed to air out the room again as it had gotten quite stuffy while we were gone. Even though we were up on the 7th floor it was quite noisy outside from the street and there was some kind of 24 hour pharmacy just below us that had people screaming and fighting at times. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, the staff were great and the price wasn't too bad.

We enjoyed staying in a fine old hotel. Missing the spacious bathrooms of new hotels, but we did not expect otherwise. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of interesting, good and reasonanably-proced restaurants nearby. Free parking a plus.
拐角处有一家星巴克,步行几分钟即可到达一家很棒的餐厅:Teton(非常美味的亚洲美食和寿司)。
