I stayed at the Gondolier as part of a senior bus trip. Before we got off the bus we were given our room assignments w/o any choice. Because I was a single traveler even though I paid extra because of it, I was given a room in the back corner of the on the 3rd floor of the hotel. I was told by the front desk that they do that to all single travelers. Only after I complained, did they offer to change my room. The hotel is in serious need of a remodel as attested to the photos I have attached. These were taken of the 2nd room they offered me. I did not take any photos of the 1st room as I wanted to leave that one a.s.a.p. While the staff is very nice and the rooms were cleaned daily I would not recommend this hotel as other friends that I traveled with had problems with their refrigerators having to be replaced bathroom fans sounding like a plane taking off.

Room was clean and perfect for a family of 4 on a last-minute trip to Wildwood Crest. Kids loved the pool and we all loved how close we were to the beach and boardwalk! Highly recommend.

Quick trip to the area for a marathon race. Perfect location and very simple but lovely room next to the Ocean! Perfect!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Gondolier. Staff was super helpful, the room was clean with an awesome ocean view, and the boardwalk was just a short walk away. The whole family had a great time. Zero complaints.

Would Highly recommend staying at the Gondolier Motel. The office personnel makes you feel welcomed with open arms. The staff does an outstanding job keeping the rooms clean and well stocked. They all go above and beyond. The grounds and pool area are kept very clean. You can look out your motel window and see the ocean. We cannot say enough great things about our stay here every year. We look forward to our return every September !!!!

Motel is very close to the beach and had adequate parking. Common areas are well kept. There are grills in the pool area for guest use. But, my issue is with our room (#321). The GFI outlet in the bathroom was cracked/broken and not working. I think this is a safety issue and my wife wasn't happy about not using her hair dryer. I texted the front desk about the GFI but got no response. The shelf next to the sink is loose/coming off the wall. There is only ONE lamp in the room and it is not controlled by the wall switch. We had to walk into a dark room. The freezer compartment in the small fridge had a large block of ice and I had to defrost it before we could use it. While the room was clean, taken together, these things indicate a lack of maintenance. Other rooms we stayed in past had similar but minor issues. Fortunately, we spend most of our time at the beach and not in our room. While we like the Gondolier and have stayed several times, we may be looking at other places in the future.

This is the cleanest and nicest motel that I've ever stayed at in Wildwood Crest in many years. Incredibly friendly staff and very accommodating. Location is directly across the street from the beach. The pool was super clean also. Highly recommend.

This place was great! wonderful girl at check in very sociable.. free coffee was wonderful,I was bragging about it at our daughters hotel across the street they stayed at Waters Edge and no one could find a coffee shop…Motel was clean, the staff went out of their way to help…the beach is just too far away so we utilized the pool a lot …
