*********** initially messed up our booking when we booked through them. I ended up going directly through the hotel and I spoke with the manager who was able to help sort out the issue and confirm our reservation. FYI-always book direct with the hotel. We had a fabulous room (#252-Villa) with an incredible view! Room was clean & spacious with a kitchenette. The staff at the pool bar was so much fun & really treated us like family! The food on site was delicious (the breakfast burrito & fish tacos were my favorite). The staff here is wonderful in terms of customer service as they really ensure you’re enjoying the property. They also had live music in the evening. We were able to easily get a taxi at the lobby to take us around. Overall, we had an amazing stay& would certainly return.

Very friendly staff, moderate modern accommodations, onsite pool, bar, cafe, and small shop. Getting to and from downtown is very simple, but can be tiring if you walk.

We have stayed at Bluebeards twice now. We loved our room this time on Hilltop. The room looked to be all newly refurbished. Big nice room with kitchenette! Very large bathroom. Great AC! Parking was convenient and the location is wonderful! The staff at the front desk is not always the friendliest or maybe that's just how they seem but the hotel is great!

Great staff, great accomodations and awesome location. Excellent value for the price compared to other accomodations on island. Monday thru Friday activities will keep you busy in the evening!

Bluebeards checked all the boxes for our family trip to USVI St Thomas (couple + 3 kids + MIL). We got 2 connecting rooms with connecting balconies too. Mornings were great to enjoy coffee with a great view of the Charlotte Amalie harbor. The hotel is up on a hill, so there's no road traffic. The pool is a little bit shallow, fine for swimming about and for kids, but not for jumping in a ton. The pool bar is great for poolside cocktails or getting food. The breakfast burrito was amazing, and frozen drinks or painkiller drinks were great as well. We enjoyed taking a tour up the historic lookout tower on site. Built in the 1600's by the Danish, the tower was a defense lookout, but now its a landmark, and you can go on a tour up inside the tower for really amazing views, and to see some shipwreck / history. The staff was really friendly, sometimes they're busy, but they're always friendly. After 4p the pool bar closes, and then the second floor restaurant/bar opens, which was nice for having dinner and drinks. All in all, Bluebeards was a great home base, we were really active each day beaching, snorkeling, or crossing over to St Johns and back. Our only downside was that Bluebeards isn't on a beach, but that was fine, as it encouraged us to go to a different beach each day. This was great, and I'd be so happy to come back.

Our unit had a mini kitchen and deck overlooking the harbor. Resort has a restaurant, pool, a small hot tub. Clean and comfortable

My stay was a great experience from start to finish. The hotel was very clean, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed. I would absolutely return and recommend this hotel to others.

The room was acceptable. It was clean and had basic amenities. Overall, the property was a huge disappointment. Let's start with the fact that they have pictures of a pool that no longer exists. Apparently it's been gone for like a decade after a hurricane. So that's like false advertising. The convenience store would close whenever the person working there felt like it. So one night we ended dinner early to go get something before it closed at seven pm only to find out that the clerk locked the door prior to 645. The service at the restaurant was exceptionally slow. One night our dinner took us almost 2 1/2 hours. We would've had several rounds of drinks because we were listening to music, but the server was so slow that anything we asked for took like 15 or 20 minutes before we would see him again. It was island time x10. The rest of the staff was a mixed bag. About half of them were engaging and very helpful. The other half of them had no idea what they were doing. That half wouldn't even look you in the eye or acknowledge you when you were standing in front of them. It was very aggravating that most of the bellhops could not summon a taxi. We found out that the best thing was to go into the front desk and get one of the guest Specialists to call a taxi. Every time they got one within 3 to 5 minutes.
