Hotel was fine. No frills. No breakfast. Pool was closed for maintenance. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Good location right on a major road in Boone. Hotel old but kept up OK. Strong musty smell in room when we arrived. We needed a couple air fresheners. Overall, OK but should be cheaper.

Plenty of parking on a well lighted lot. Room was good. Pool was closed for maintenance. No complimentary breakfast but did have coffee and juice. Staff was excellent. Room and hallways were clean. I would definately stay there again.

I was hoping for a better experience for the amount I paid for this room. The young gal checking me the night was very sweet but I got the feeling the room I was in does not get used very often. It did have a mini-fridge and microwave but the fridge was not plugge in or pre-cooled. There was no remote so I called down to the front desk and she brought one back for me and she programmed the TV but I didn't realize the power button and volume control buttons did not work until after she left but I figured it wasn't that big of a deal. The A/C sounded like a jet engine coming through my room. When I went to wash my face, it was rusty water out of the faucet so I had to let it run just a bit. The continental breakfast was coffee and orange juice. I booked this online so was lead to believe it would be better accommodations. Will not stay here again.
