Guests were quiet, polite and courteous. We could communicate with ease and they were very polite. We will love to have them again in our hotel! Definitely recommended.
George and Aris were helpful and had ensured that my family and I enjoyed our stay at Rodakas. Located at Akrotiri, south of Santorini and away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia. Upon arrival, and as they were preparing our family room, Aris immediately gave us an overview of Santorini and highlighted to us some suggested activities we could do around the island. As for moving around, do rent a car/atv/bike to go around the island as places like Perissa beach, Fira (town) and Oia are quite a distance from the hotel. Taking bus although cheaper is time consuming and rather rigid in terms of timing. Staff at Rodakas can assist you with it. Besides that, the bus stop is right outside of this hotel. There's a convenient shop within a minute walk from the hotel and Caldera beach the nearest beach from the hotel. Limited choices of restaurants/taverns but still there are a few to try which are within walking distance. Hotel amenities are sufficient, almost a self-catered one with a dining area, swimming pool and a poolside bar. The family room (loft style with double bed below and double bed upstairs) comes with a television, fridge and towels are provided as well. The downsides for me were (i) no kettle in the room to make hot drinks in-room (personal preference); and (ii) bathroom floor was too level that caused water not to sink but overflow into the room when showering. Overall stay was satisfactory and thank you to the people at Rodakas!

The location is really good because all is so near, the red beach, the prehistoric old ancient town of Santorini, and for late clubbing nights....Fira city is only few minutes with your vehicle...and believe me after that you need to rest in a peaceful place. Great value...!!!

We were welcomed like members of the family! While the room with loft space for our teen was snug, the petite bathroom was beautifully appointed with marble tiles and stainless steel fittings, and the beds were very comfy. Lovely view of the township, as well as the other towns across the caldera. The swimming pool and bar/restaurant were fabulous, and our meals were delightful. The hoteliers were so thoughtful, they allowed us to spend the day by the pool until our taxi picked us up at 6.30pm to head to the airport... this act of kindness turned a potentially exhausting day, into a day of relaxation. We were very happy to be based on the quieter side of the island, especially after visiting Oia for the day (absolute mayhem!) Thanks for the memories!

Kind and nice people....respectful and quiet. Wonderful family, hope to have them as guests again!
