The bedroom was spacious and we also had a lovely balcony with views down to the harbour. We were met by our host on arrival and he showed us on a map some places to see in the national park. Due to ferry times, we arrived before the normal check-in time but our room was still ready which was appreciated.
The bed was a bit soft but we still managed to sleep well. The window shutters helped to keep it nice and dark too and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchenette was small but well equipped, although we didn't cook that much as the range stocked by the local shop was not that wide! The one downside was the water for showering and washing up which was tepid most of the time.

The owners were very nice but this didn’t really compensate for the fact the room was tiny, airless and had a broken window shutter which meant light streamed in at sunrise; and the air-con unit directly above the bed just added to the nocturnal misery. Maybe the other rooms are better - who knows? In short, there are better budget options in Mljet.

....Extremely uncomfortable beds for those with back problems, too much for a bottle of water. From 0.750 ml Paid €5.00 hot.😡😡😡😡Not to be recommended....Know how to manage outdoor spaces.....Too many stairs to get to the room....inconvenient for luggage..

Stayed here while travelling through Croatia. The accommodation was booked for us through Jetset and, having looked at the website and read reviews, we were quite excited to stay here as it looked beautiful. However, the reality was quite different! We arrived off the ferry and found the guest house quickly as it's very close to the ferry port. We'd been told there was no check in desk but we had given our time of arrival. After searching for a way in, we found a young girl who introduced herself as the owners daughter. She was very nice and sorted out WiFi, gave us our key and took us to the room and that was our first indication that the website wasn't giving the full picture. The room was tiny, with a double bed pushed up against a wall so that my husband had to climb over me to get out of bed. The bedside lamp was held together with duct tape. The wardrobe was a cheap clothes rail. The kitchen area consisted of a small fridge balanced on a drawer with a kettle on top. The table and chairs took up too much room and were far too uncomfortable to sit at. The hair dryer kept cutting out so it took 45 minutes to dry my hair. The outside terrace looked lovely from a distance.Close up, the tables were filthy with rings left from drinks and there was an overflowing ashtray there when we arrived and was still there when we left 3 days later. The website shows a restaurant, there isn't one. As the daughter was obviously just helping out, and seemed more interested in getting back to her friends, we didn't mention our disappointment but thought we'd bring it up with her parents. However, we didn't see or hear anyone apart from a few very young tourists who looked like they were on a gap year. The whole place had the feel of a backpackers hostel, ok if you're 18 but not when you're a middle aged couple! Mljet itself is absolutely stunning and we did have a great time there but the accommodation really let us down. We've now put in a complaint to Jetset. On a good note, the daughter did recommend a nearby restaurant, Melody, which was excellent and we had a 10% discount for staying at Matana.

Quaint apartment with balcony that overlooked the bay (3rd floor). The view of the ocean was beautiful. Apartment was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.
Very conveniently located right beside the Mijet national park (entrance approx. 20-30 feet from the appartment). Hosts were friendly and communication was easy. The host met with me as I arrived and provided me with an early check. She also gave me additional information about the area. They allowed me to store my baggage the next day until the arrival of my ferry.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stop looking! Matana is the perfect place for your vacations in Mljet. With a Fantastic quality to price ratio, this place is extremely comfortable, has everything you need and is extremely well located. Walking distance to the pier where the ferries dock, right next to the entrance to Mljet National Park and a bunch of restaurants and grocery store. My wife and I were planning to stay here for only 2 nights and after the first few hours, we decided to stay for much longer. We loved Matana and absolutely fell in love with Mljet! Inka and Vicko are great hosts and I recommend you ask them about some beautiful secret spots they recommend seeing.

位于米莱特国家公园中心的公寓
房东非常友好,会推荐很棒的餐厅。我们的房间非常干净,配有空调,可以欣赏到公园的美景。地理位置优越,方便前往公园和港口。
简单,但令人愉快
