Beds comfy with clean sheets and the bathroom had had a swipe round but otherwise it needs a deep clean! Stayed twice at Premier Inn Ashford Central en route to France and back for Christmas and this was our experience in both family rooms we stayed in this year. Hair dryer also completely useless (wouldn't dry fluff on a babies head). Bath tub does not drain properly either so you don't feel clean after a shower. Premier inn need to sort out a regular deep clean to build up standards again and a lick of paint around the edges wouldn't be a bad thing as the skirtings are turning brown. Shame, because we have often stayed in Premier Inns en route places over the last few years and we have told friends the opposite of Premier Inn in previous years- that you can guarantee a clean and comfortable please to stay at a reasonable price- unfortunately not our experience this year! Might have to look for an alternative next year. Disappointed.

Use this particular Premier Inn often. Very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced with friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend. (As we stayed Christmas Night there was even a Christmas card in our room - a nice touch!)

We stayed here Christmas day. Good room size, with chair and desk. Very clean. Many plug sockets and tea and coffee facilities. WiFi was very poor, they do have a faster service you pay extra for. Very good value for money Breakfast was extra. The 2 ladies on duty were very good, cheerful, helpful, and obviously enjoyed their job, which makes such a big difference.

Having read the poor reviews I expected a mediocre experience at best. Bit the bullet and booked based solely on the hotels proximity to an event I would be attending. I was more than a little anxious on the journey. When we arrived we were greeted by (Cally?) the most friendly, accommodating receptionist and given our door key. The corridors were clean and smelled of clean linen, our room much the same. The room and bathroom was spotless, looking like it had had a refurb within the last few years. No problems at all. When returning to our room after our night out we were greeted with a personal note from Sharon on reception and complementary shortbread. Our entire experience made me wonder if some of the bad reviews were for another hotel. Thank you, we will be back.

Myself and alot of my wedding guests stayed here for two nights the time of my wedding. The team couldnt be more helpful and listened to requests we had for elderly relatives and accomodated them no questions asked. We arrived to a lovely note a box of chocolates and a bottle of fizz to say congratulations which was absolutly lovely. The rooms are clean the corridors quite and the facilities easy to use. Was a lovely stay and id reccomend to anyone in the area

The room had a pronounced musty and mouldy smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Despite informing reception, no alternative room was available, and the only solution offered was a spray bottle of “Daily Odour Eliminator” to mask the odour rather than address the cause. While a gesture of goodwill was offered in the form of a complimentary breakfast, this was unfortunately not suitable due to dietary restrictions. Using the odour eliminator only masked the issue temporarily, and by late evening we resorted to leaving the window open and the door ajar to ventilate the room. By morning, the smell remained noticeable, so we decided to leave two and a half hours earlier than planned, as the room remained unpleasant to stay in.

Stayed at many Premier Inns and they have all been pretty consistent. This one feels a little tired and in need of some TLC. It's saving grace was it's staff, those that we met, who were very pleasant and welcoming. Afraid the bathroom left a lot to be desired, in particular the soap dispenser which was dirty and very rusty and was the same in my son's room. Would not cost much to replace them. Didn't really want to use it to be honest. Otherwise OK but I have stayed in better..
