Don’t bother. Unable to get through to reception after ringing multiple times to let them know I was going to be arriving late. Emailed with no response. What’s the point of having contact details if there’s no one there to answer. Looking at previous reviews looks like I had a lucky escape! Wouldn’t give it one stars if I didn’t have too.

Pros. Comfortable room with a shower over the bath. Good value for money. Cons. The reception is not manned or contactable if you need assistance. The main and one of the side lights did not work. There is no tea or coffee making facilities at all.

Booked 2 days as we where attending a wedding So I emailed to say that my daughter is attending too so need a big room. When we arrived no one was at the reception and after pressing bell many times eventually someone came. He had no customer service skills at all. Our room was so small we could just barely walk round the bed. The rooms are very old very outdated. Corridor was so small I had to walk sideways whilst holding my bags. A homeless man walked straight into hotel and then had a wash in the toilet and said he dies this all the time and then proceed to climb out a window. I was told by staff that this was not a homeless man this is security 🤣🤣. So on that note I decided that this was not a safe place for my eight year old and asked for refund. This is a workman's hotel and not good for families or couples .

How is this place not closed down already,restaurant and bar closed, decor in a state, semi derelict. Left early as couldn't spend another night, rooms far too hot, double room like a box, dirty sheets, yes skidmarks on the sheet, stained divan base. Never again. People banging about all night, fire doors with gaps round them, holes in walls. Giving it 1 star is actually too much, please don't go there it's terrible. Overcharged for basically an old boarding house with no facilities whatsoever. The Car park is a building site. It's rough.

We arrived and no one was at the reception after 10 minutes he appeared and we choose a ground floor room which we had to go the house next door and put a code into a outside door which was a nightmare . On entering our room we were greeted with a old outdated room which was freezing , it’s was so small the bathroom looked like it had been updated but again was freezing cold. It had a kettle but no cups or tea or coffee , we asked about these and he turn on the heating and said we needed to wait 10 mins we waited and went for a walk , on our return room still freezing we handed back our keys with still nobody on reception anyone could have taken the keys and stayed in our room . A terrible place , dirty , cold and restaurant is closed because of Covid even though the restrictions are lifted everywhere else . Avoid at all costs
