The food and service were amazing! Unfortunately the room I was in had peeling paint and needed a good clean. The location is nice and lovely to have the sea view.

Four of us dined here while in Onslow. Its a pub, order at the counter and the meal arrives. Go up and buy your own drinks. It was very busy on a Tuesday night but we did reserve a table later in the day. Good atmosphere but the winner was the food. HUge serves, which often puts me off but in this case the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. The caesar salad with smoked salmon had a huge amount of quality smoked salmon as well of the usual caesar ingredients but I was pleased to see and egg as well as anchovies. The staff were running! Jon the Frenchman was excellent as was the smaller dark haired guy who must have clocked up a marathon as he conscientiously served and cleared all the tables. Highly recommended for food and service.

Room adequate. Clean with a nice balcony back yard and sea view
Onslow is a small place with not much accomodation With a beautiful beach and fabulous sunset
Breakfast from 4am ….7am. Do t dilly dally
An amazing place. Do not change it
Of all the fancy hotels I stayed on in this trip this was by miles the one with original character

Great food highly recommend. We have had dinner at the Beadon Bay Hotel twice during our 9 night stay in Onslow. The 4 of us really enjoyed our meals. The Barramundi was superb and the Mexican Prawns were amazing. Not forgetting the chicken Parmigiana it was huge. I would not hesitate recommending the pub to anyone visiting Onslow you won’t be disappointed.

Didn’t like the stairs - no lift. Asking an 80 year old to lug suitcases up stairs is not my idea of an accessible building.
