I had a serious issue with finding a place to eat on my stay. One of the restaurants was reserved for a private party however the other restaurant was totally abandoned. When I went there for dinner dirty dishes were still on tables. I went to the restaurant bar and was informed that I couldn’t get any food because the reserved restaurant had all the staff and food. I had to get into my car and drove over 10 miles to Oakland Maryland to get something to eat

We came in the off season, so most things were closed. But our room was comfortable and clean and very quiet. We only were served a grab-and-go breakfast, but it was ok for our needs. I don't think the restaurant was open because it was the off season. The few staff we did meet were friendly. The property looks very nice - a beautiful golf course, hiking trails, and plenty of boats for activities on the lake. I'm sure it is a very nice place to stay in the summer.

This is a nice area. The lodge is under renovation, kind of. They are installing new flooring. Not sure what else is going to happen. There are rooms that they allow for pet owners. This was a problem in the early morning as the dogs barked for a very long time. No sleeping in. Overall, the staff was nice, the rooms are dated but the area is beautiful.

The overall property was beautiful but the room were extremely outdated! The rooms felts damp to a point that we had to turn the AC off and open the window and door to dry it out. Carpet felt wet, chairs were very old and dirty. I couldn’t sleep the 2 night we were there it was so bad
