Best experience in mexico
Great family, very welcoming, very close to all, private , no tourist trap, relaxed and very classy style. The main house is a beauty . All comfort but did not lose the flair. If you want to see all but in a private environment? This is the place. If one thing could be added? A simple suitcase rack.

We had the downstairs room by the reception; a two room, double bed in one, bunk beds in the other, with bathroom ensuite. Just delightful house, full of character with pleasing features all over. We were 3-generation mother, daughter(13), grandmother. This place is owned and run by a mother and daughter and staff. It's their creative enterprise and that is palpable. We got a sweet tour of the edibles in the garden after expressing an interest at what we had been served as options at multiple options breakfast. We liked the little cold plunge pool shaded structure as well, perfect for us to sit in and read a book during the high heat of the day.

Our second stay at this lovely B&B. Clean, comfortable and charming. The owner apparently doesn't stay here as much as several years ago, which made it seem more like a hotel than a B&B. We arrived after dark and were met by a staff person, who unlocked the gate to a parking area across the street from the B&B, as there was no parking available on the street. So, if you're driving, be sure to ask about parking. He wasn't terribly helpful about recommending restaurants for dinner. The B&B is not staffed at night and there were no instructions about how to get ahold of anyone after hours if needed . Despite being a B&B, breakfast was an extra charge (you can request it upon booking). The woman who prepares breakfast (delicious) and cleans the rooms is very sweet and friendly. You'll need some Spanish to communicate with her.

Beautiful, well maintained, comfortable, warm, inviting property. Great staff! Plush comfortable bedding, linens, great water pressure, comfortable common spaces with wonderful library. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Quiet room.

We spent four wonderful days at Casa de Zari. The mother, father, and two daughters who own and run this B & B are lovely people. The daughters are both fluent in English. The rooms in this historic house are all unique and interesting (we had two of them), and there are lovely indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The breakfast was delicious. The property is an easy 10 minute walk down the very safe Calle 12 to the walled city, and is quiet and peaceful. We even met the dogs, Zari and Madonna, who are friendly and quiet. A delightful stay.

Beautiful little traditional b&b. Hosts are very friendly, with lots of information. Breakfast was excellent! Mattress was very comfortable. 10-minute walk on a safe street to the walled historic city. Suggestions: -please consider adding thicker curtains to the windows. It is very bright in the morning. -please consider adding a lamp next to the bed that is not fluorescent. The light is quite harsh / bright white and makes the room less inviting than it could be.
