The room was spotless, comfortable & nicely furnished. Pleasant greeting at front desk. Breakfast was excellent- 4 cereal choices, scrambled eggs, sausages, 3 bread choices, tasty fairly-traded coffee, & real dishes & cutlery! Would look for Canalta wherever we travel in Canada.

I enjoyed my stay and wish I could have spent longer so that I could have enjoyed the pool. The breakfast every morning was fresh and full of options. A really great place to rest!

ALL WAS SATISFACTORY EXCEPT THE BEDS...VERY OLD AND UNCOMFORTABLE. I ASKED THE HOTEL FOR ANOTHER ROOM AND THEY SHOWED US A ROOM THAT SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. THE HOTEL SAID THEY ARE LOOKING AT REPLACING THE BEDS. CANALTA CAN DO BETTER, AND ******* PLEASE GIVE PROPER INFORMATION ONLINE WITH REVIEWS I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE THIS WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL.

Breakfast was very good, very friendly staff. Bed could do with a topper, i have back issues, so was a little hard. But we will go back again and recommend to others.

I would have to say this is probably the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Extremely clean and well looked after. Staff were accommodating and did I mention that the hot breakfast was amazing. Everything you could ask for and more. Thanks for everything!

The rooms are big and clean. Beds are old and creeky but comfortable enough. Breakfast is good and simple (pancakes really good). Staff super friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 days first 2 days were amazing the last night a bus load of teenage kids showed up and were sooooo soooo loud (slamming doors, running down halls and screaming) they didn’t settle until 12/1am and started back up around 6am - last night didn’t sleep at all but not the hotels fault but maybe they could do hallway checks when bigger groups with many teenagers come to stay. Other than that it was a good stay. Thank you, we will be staying again!!
