After the noise of Alicante, it was great to break the journey here, in the middle of no-where. The house is really isolated and a great place from which to do early morning walks up into the hills, where the only living creatures you'll see will be wild deer, hares, rabbits and birds. There is a pleasant garden with shaded areas where a book can be read in total peace. My bedroom was large, remarkably cool during the heat-wave, very tastefully decorated with a wide comfortable bed and a classy bathroom with even classier shower. The swimming pool was a welcome refresher at the end of the day, whilst sipping an aperitif under the leafy pergola wasn't bad either! The hosts are generous and interesting and I was relieved to find such an isolated place that prepares a cooked meal even for just one customer. The 4G signal is remarkably good, also. This is definitely a place to return to!
