It was cheap. The front desk was nice upon arrival. Just there for the night on a quick stay but didnt feel safe. The outside needs a reno, cleaning and landscaping. Feels very run down. Inside was clean enough but the sheets/towels did not smell like bleach, there was a weird bug in the bathroom and the kitchen was not well stocked...or clean.

Good accomdations-could use a coat of paint.
While the building could use a coat of paint and some repairs would enhance the appearance....the rooms were clean and as advertised. We enjoyed our stay.

Dirty, cobwebs everywhere, food bits under bed, so dated. No glasses for water. Bed was dreadfully uncomfortable, pillows were horrible.

River Heights Motel was a great last minute option to stay at. It is close to Downtown Courtenay businesses, stores and restaurants.

I stayed on August 18th, unit 24, 1 Queen, very roomy, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Clean! I will ill use River Heights again.

The mattress was lovely and I got good nights’ sleep. Parking was excellent. Location is right on a main thoroughfare but nonetheless quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was adequately stocked; fridge, freezer, microwave all worked well. I didn’t try the stove and oven but they appeared to be in excellent condition. Altogether an ideal place to stay.

Very comfortable place, however when I booked through ******* I was of the opinion it was pet friendly. Thankfully he had another unit available that was pet friendly. This is something you need to address, as I may have had no options and 2 hours away from home.
