Whilst the property was in a very convenient location right next to the ferry, the room advertised was not at all what we were given. Very disappointing, very grubby, dried blood drips in bath tub made it feel totally disgusting..one of the reasons we booked was for the jet tub..unusable. The furniture was old and the decor was like stepping back to the 1980’s and again, not the pictures online. Receptionist was very rude and unfriendly which set the tone too. Unfortunate experience in what was meant to be a very beautiful couple of nights away.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with stunning views over the Marina The apartment was clean,luxurious and had everything you needed .It was a short walk to the ferry and IGA .Magnetic Island was a lovely surprise We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife during our visit especially the rock wallabies and koalas.We hired a car the day after we arrived and there were only limited cars available I would definitely book prior to arriving next time Nice place to escape a Sydney winter

Wifi did not work and this is not acceptable. Seems a typhoon came through a few weeks ago and broke the server. Everywhere else on the island seemed fine. If there is a wifi problem it needs to be clearly stated when booking. I would have gone elsewhere because cannot unfortunately be disconnected for three days. Spent almost 200 euro on roaming the three days. Local contact said would do his best but no luck. Communication complicated too with local contact as network not working, payment was a hassle although they were flexible.

Apart from that appartment well located. Cleanliness could have been better. Some dust in cupboards where kitchenware is. Windows very dirty outside. It is facing the port but seems the apptment did not get a quick cleanup before we arrived

We did get a larger apptment three rooms than we needed.
