We truly loved so much about this hotel. The recent renovations are beautiful, and the location is absolutely perfect — easily one of the nicest stretches of beach compared to others nearby. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, with Sandra standing out for her exceptional service.
A few small things could be improved. Morning coffee service was a bit hit-and-miss; on several occasions we ordered twice and it never arrived. The lunch menu is fantastic, but dinner didn’t quite measure up in comparison. And for anyone who enjoys working out, just note that the gym is very small — one bench, one mat, and limited space to move around. It would be great to see this upgraded in the future.
Overall, the hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and a lovely, chill vibe. If you go, ENJOY — it’s a beautiful place!

While this property is very nice (the room, grounds and beachfront) - we found the service and management to be sorely lacking and not in line with expectations for a luxury collection property. Our check in experience was abysmal (very slow, no smile, no welcome drink, no information, poor directions to the room). Staffing in the restaurant was way too low in busy periods, with guests waiting ages for food. We walked past a team meeting in the restaurant one day and the staff all looked like someone had died. Morale is clearly low. On our departure, we booked our airport taxi an hour in advance. No one (front desk, bell hop, management) thought to tell us the highway was closed for a car race, which meant a lot of stress getting to the airport with our 2 young kids. The GM did call our room to wish us happy Thanksgiving and inform us of the special menu - but that was on Thanksgiving, most people prepare beyond that. If I was Marriott HQ I would send someone down to run a review

As a freshly reopened hotel, everything is fresh and immaculate- hard to fault.

This property and staff were amazing! Shiut out to Tyrone the barntender. Also our dinner in the Rum Vault was over the top fantastic. Corey and Misha did an awesome with everything for our private dinner. All staff was fantastic to be honest and the hotel and room were beautifully refurbished.

Since this is the last month of operation for the hotel before it closes for a year long renovation project we were blessed with a lot of peace and quiet. The staff, despite their pending furlough, was attentive and caring. Looking forward to the reopening in 2025. It’s a great beach location
