The restored/converted bank building was very well done. Our room and bed were very comfortable. But the coffee maker was difficult to use. I ordered the steak offering and it was, at best warm, even after sending it back. Only to find out later that they don't have a conventional kitchen and their 'heating' equipment was out of order. But they certainly charged us the food to meet, Unfortunately, loading and unloading luggage is a real challenge because there is no bellman, and the bell cart barely fits through the front door and you cannot get it to street level to load the carpeting, due to the step down curb. In my opinion, they need valet parking because their psrking is a block and a half away on the fourth floors, and when we were there the elevator wasn't working.

Best hotel in Roanoke
This place was amazing!! I travel to Roanoke for work about twice a year & I have always stayed at Hotel Roanoke but never again!! This is my go-to hotel when I’m in town. So nice, so unique, so comfy, so clean & my room was HUGE.
