Very nice hotel, updated and very clean. Felt homey, would highly recommend. Will definitely use again. Perfect location for Amtrak station, walking distance to train.

Room was spacious, quiet, clean and had great views. The staff was all friendly and professional. The restaurant creates fantastic meals. Everything I had was wonderful. It feels like a boutique hotel. I’ve already booked my next stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautifully renovated. The lounge, rooms and all of the common areas are gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to many restaurants and shops. It’s the only place I will stay in Roanoke.

My stay at this hotel was great! Amanda at the front desk was amazing !!! She made the horrible day and night I was having due to a horrible experience at another hotel in Roanoke VA I had before arriving at the Liberty Trust better from that point forward. Her kindness, willing to help me with my luggage (I’d just had a back surgery causing me to not be able to handle my own belongings well or not at all), her respectful demeanor, and simply ability to make me feel welcomed and comfortable meant the world to me in the moment in which it did that she was not aware of at the time. She’s wonderful! The Liberty Trust was clean quiet appealing beautiful and I will definitely stay there again.

This is one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot, as a former flight attendant. I’m obsessed with the copper/bronze doors. Very tastefully appointed, and I love all the period details like the old mail boxes on the walls. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful, clean, safe. The room with king size bed was just what we needed. We had stayed in a room with queen size bed previously and it was quite tight. The staff is wonderful.

There was so much light coming in the windows that I couldn’t sleep or stay asleep. When I asked if there was a different room with curtains I was told that’s why they provided eye masks. The eye mask provided was super uncomfortable. Don’t stay here if you need darkness to sleep or the sun in the morning to judge when it’s time to wake up. Every time I woke up throughout the night I thought the sun was out already. The thermostat was also very wonky. Either so hot or too cold. Clearly it was reading a temperature that wasn’t in the room. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but that doesn’t matter if I can’t actually sleep.
