The stay at Little Peepal House was very pleasant. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable (room 301). The highlights of this place are: 1) the proximity to the main attractions (City Palace, Jagdish temple, Gangour Ghat), 2) the helpfulness and friendliness of Parvat (the owner) and his team, 3) the roof top which offers an incredible view of Lake Pichola and the old city. I recommend this place, you won't regret it!

Honestly this is the best place to stay in Udaipur, the hotel has lovely large rooms and is very clean. The atmosphere is amazing due to the owner and his family who are the most wonderful welcoming people. This place is magical it’s amongst beautiful narrow streets in the old city, it’s walking distance to the city palace and markets. My partner and I will definitely be coming back!

Excellent budget stay for backpackers. The host is helpful and kind - goes beyond his way to make your stay pleasant. The room is clean and meals are home cooked. Location is optimum - all places are reachable by foot. Recommended!

Had a great stay at little peepal house. Property is managed by really good people. We really enjoyed the service and roof top ambience of this place. This place is Highly recommended,it is quite good and budget friendly.

Great location, nice spacious rooms, solid wifi and most important -- lovely family that runs this hotel. Spent 12 days there, can highly recommend it. P.S.: food is great, have tried almost everything from the menu :)

Pros - 1. The hospitality of the owner - Mr. Parvatji - starting from carrying luggages of guests till cooking food, suggesting visiting points and making all required arrangements (including affordable cab services) is awesome. 2. The services and courtesy of Mr. Mehra (Parvatji's assistant) is equally good. 3. The location is close to Lake Pichola and in close proximity to the visiting points. 4. The food cooked by him and his mother is too tasty 😋 and you won't feel the need to have meals elsewhere. 5. The rooms are spacious and the view from the rooftop is mind-blowing. Refer to my pics. Cons - 1. The stairs are too steep - as they are in almost all Udaipur buildings. However, Parvatji and Mehraji takes care to onboard and offboard the luggages from the vehicles till the hotel rooms. 2. The alleys are narrow from main road to the hotel, but very clean and lighted. 3. The intercoms won't work, but you can call or whatsapp Parvatji anytime for anything that you need - he arranges everything you need . 4. Small amenities like providing fresh towels everyday, soap/shampoo dispensers, exhaust fans in washrooms if taken care, can upgrade this into an above standard hotel. Summary - This is more than a homestay, but falls short of a 3-star hotel - at a very reasonable price. I am sure Mr. Parvatji's dedication, hospitality and professional attitude will soon make this hotel into a competing establishment with renowned hotels in Udaipur. All the best.
