Loved this small hotel. The owner Dan is extremely helpful and available. Rooms were large, the beds luxurious and super clean . There is a boutique general store that hits the important basics . There is a bar restaurant that opens at three. The hamburger🔥and street tacos are quite good. The bar is nice ( I don’t drink🤷🏽) . Large clean pool in a very private courtyard.Surfing lessons, jungle tours , boat tours and more are available and the beach is nice, water warm. This area is quiet and less busy compared to the north beach of Playa Grande a couple of miles north. There are only three other restaurants at this end but the food was good in all .

This is a great place to stay. Extremely friendly staff and on-site restaurant. The pool is large and very nice. Big rooms with high ceilings. Comfy bed and full kitchen. Loved the deck overlooking the trees and the whirring of night birds and crickets. Very good WiFi . There is an onsite small grocery store that has a nice selection of items. Close walk to the beach and restaurants, including the Grateful Hotel.

This place is perfect for a trip to Playa Grande. Close to the Grateful Hotel for music. The place has an onsite restaurant and bar that has excellent food and a fun atmosphere. The pool is large and very clean. There is also an onsite small grocery store that has a great selection of items. Close to the beach. Nice comfortable apartments with a full kitchen and great decks to hang out on. Extremely friendly staff!!!!

This was my husband and I's first trip to Costa Rica and struggled in narrowing down where to stay and explore. I am SO GLAD that we went with the Palm Beach Inn. From the minute we arrived at the Inn, we were greeted with friendly faces and Dan took us to our room and showed us around. He opened the market for us to get a few things, even though it was after hours. The laid back, chill vibe of the Inn and all of it's employees let us know that we were in the right place. If we had any questions at all, I knew that I could count on Dan to point us in the right direction. We woke up every morning and sat on our patio, which faced the canopy, and listened to all of the birds. It literally sounded like I was in an aviary. Saw so many different types of birds and squirrels. The pool was a very nice amenity to have after a hot day at the beach, along with the outdoor showers. We honestly cannot wait to come back and see everyone and everything again! I made a new cat friend, Winston, and miss him daily! :) Thanks Dan and Crew!!

This hotel was a bit off the beaten track but its privacy was offset by it proximity to one of the greatest beaches and estuaries I have ever seen. The building was new, fastidiously clean, secure & cool (ie air conditioned.) The owner, Dan, was constantly available. The hotel's grocery store and restaurant were both only a few steps from the rooms and pool. All the members of the staff were committed to the comfort and satisfaction of the guests and went out of their ways to assure good service in English and Spanish. The room I had was large with a complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom, modern in-wall air conditioner, large bedroom area with a comfortable bed and a balcony with large armchairs looking onto the forested area. There were ceiling fans in the bedroon and on the balcony. TV was high definition Netflix, Prime, Disney, Web browser, etc. but no local television programming. Not needed anyway. Internet connection was provided free. The tap water was very clean and potable. The dining area was open air staffed by cheerful, welcoming, expert staff with a modest menu of excellent food and a wide variety of bottled or prepared drinks. There was no fresh meat or fruit available in the store but they had a very good variety of all sorts of packaged foods, soft drinks, alcohol, dry goods, frozen treats and souvenirs. There was a Surf Shop next to the restaurant that offered tours and surf lessons. I took a memorable tour of the mangrove area of the estuary.
