Me and a friend stayed in the twin room here whilst walking the South Downs Way and it was the perfect place for us. About 15mins walk straight from path and really warm welcome when we arrived tired! Had one of the best pies I’ve ever had and the room was perfect for what we needed, powerful shower/ warm and comfy beds! We didn’t need breakfast as leaving very early in morning but they still went out of way to see if they could accommodate anything for us! Would 100% return in future.

We decided to give the new Curry Night a try tonight and it turned out to be the best idea we've had in ages! Both curries (Lamb Rogan Josh and a brilliant Goan Prawn) came with pilau rice, a poppadom, naan bread, onion bhajee and a fabulous beef samosa. Full of flavour, beautifully presented and a really, really generous meal for £21.65. Ten out of ten to chefs Oli and Luke for the delicious food and to manager Jordan for the roaring fire!

We recently stayed at this lovely pub and was genuinely impressed! From the moment we walked in, it had that cozy, welcoming charm — The room was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with warm lighting, rustic details, and a super comfy bed. it felt more like staying in a countryside retreat than a typical hotel. The pub is absolutely delightful. The food was incredible — hearty, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. I had one of the best Sunday roasts! breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. Staff were very friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the place. If you’re looking for a relaxed and charming spot with character, comfort, and top-notch pub fare, this place is a hidden gem. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you x

We stayed at The White Hart South Harting last week and met up with family there ! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we had a lovely time . Everything went so smoothly . Having Tom looking after us in the evenings and the truly lovely Jo during breakfast and the day made it perfect . The meals were all just right for all four us us . We loved having room 7 . It had everything ! Plenty to see in the local area ! Would thoroughly recommend a Couple of days away at The White Hart .. We will definitely be back again . David A

We stayed here for two nights while walking the South Downs Way. Food was terrific (with the bonus of a really nice chef), service personal and considerate by Ian, who manfully had to do everything from making up the fire before breakfast to closing up at night (as his assistant was ill) with equanimity and good manners throughout (which took some doing as the wifi was down). Room was nice but a little noisy at times as a bedroom above us. Altogether a good experience for us and would recommend it to others.

Stayed for 2 nights as we were at a wedding at the Tithe Barn. We felt at home straight away and were welcomed warmly by the staff. Our family room Was amazing, lovely theming throughout warm and cosy. No problems at all. We ate our evening meal in the pub and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was just as good the next morning. Could not fault anything, all staff were really great . Can’t wait to return soon!

We have just spent 2 nights in this lovely village pub, Nice room with nice extra's coffee pods, biscuits and fresh milk. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming, they are a great team. we had some nice meals both nights and I would like to say a big thanks to chef Matt for the best breakfast ever! kind thanks also to Bob and Jodie and all staff who were in the background. Will deffo visit again...

Great place
This pib in a lovely village was a great place to stay. The service was noticeably good. The food was gourmet and the room as well equipped as any we have stayed in.
我出差期间住在白鹿酒店，感觉很棒。典型的英式魅力，以及家一般的舒适，让我在旅途中也能感受到家的温暖。食物很棒，咖啡/拿铁更是美味。工作人员都非常友好热情，房间整洁舒适。虽然离开时有点舍不得，但度过了一段美好的时光！
我们在主酒吧楼上的房间里度过了一晚，房间布置得非常古雅：双床房虽然不大，但设施齐全，地板是倾斜的，窗户（有一块玻璃已经裂了）不太合适（好像是挂牌出售的？）。酒吧的初印象不太好，因为后面的停车场和入口处都挂着一台噪音很大的抽油烟机。熟食早餐很棒，旁边还有一份简朴的欧陆式自助餐。晚餐却令人失望，周日晚上的菜单非常有限（只剩下两种烤肉和一个汉堡）；质量与价格不符。不过，工作人员的服务始终非常出色——热情友好，效率很高。从门口走到唐斯丘陵的路上，风景也非常棒。
