Standard pub grub. Enjoyed the schnitty with mushroom sauce. No parma option on the menu. Tasty cold beers on tap, takeaway available. Screening footy match from 1997 on the big screen. Would return.

Was great staying at the Hotel, we booked through Wotif and they failed to send the confirmation through to the Hotel, the manager was great , he called after we left to say that someone had cancelled so we got a room after all. Can't get better service than that

Very accommodating staff. At this stage I've had to stay 2 more nights than anticipated due to flooding in the area. Room is clean Bathroom is good. Food is absolutely delicious. Well done to all involved

Change in booking service meant our reservation had not been received, however the staff on site did an amazing job in accommodating us. Room was simple but clean and tidy.

Overnight Saturday stay.

Pub hotel accommodation is what it is.

Bed linen fresh and clean.

Rooms not air conditioned (missed that on the info). Bathroom facilities good.

Staff very friendly and Saturday pub meal was adequate.

If staying Saturday night be aware live band until 11:30pm.

All in all a good stay and lovely location (Stroud) to wake up in.

We had an easy check-in and found our room to be a good size, with access to the main balcony. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant and playground were convenient; I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection. We appreciated the communal room with tea and coffee facilities, and the shared bathrooms were clean, with both a bath and shower. It was just a short distance to the local pool and shops, making our stay enjoyable. One small suggestion: it would have been helpful to have a bin, tissues, and water in the room, but this didn’t significantly impact our experience.
