Stayed for New Years Eve celebration. I was very impressed with the lovely friendly check in, and the updated room. We paid extra for the Premier Plus room and were not disappointed. The little extras provided are lovely, like the fridge and the Nespresso machine. Unlimited refills of coffee, milk, sugar etc. were available at reception. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it, and the room was very cozy. I have stayed at this hotel many times, but the upgrades are definitely a plus in my opinion. About the area: There are a few pubs close by The Roebuck next door, and the White Bull across the road, both serve food. A short walk and there is an amazing venue, Guys Thatched Hamlet, which has 2 restaurants, Guys Eating Establishment (Italian) and Owd Nells (Pub/Restaurant). We ate in both and the food is very good and very reasonable. A 4 mile drive into Garstang is worth a visit. Yes I would recommend this Premier Inn for a short break, and will return.

Wonderful hotel The best Premier Inn that I have been to for quite a while. Rooms were clean. Staff excellent and very helpful. The Roebuck pub which served food was also good value. We will certainly return

We got stuck on a shut motorway for 3 hours. (Obviously my heart goes out to anyone involved in the accident, and their needs are far more important than ours.) Luckily we had booked Premier Inn for an overnight stop and they promise a 24 hour check-in so we didn't need to worry about the extra time waiting. And sure enough when we did arrive at 2am they were incredibly friendly and efficient. Hugely appreciated.

We have stayed here before and it didn’t disappoint. Good location , plenty to do. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a premier plus room which was lovely, very clean , super shower. Excellent broadband compared to ours ! Very comfortable bed for our 4night stay . Will return to this hotel.

Contracting away from home, the hotel is very clean and well presented rooms. At evening time the hotel is very quiet. The Roebuck next door serves very good quality food and breakfast is good. Ann and the other staff members give outstanding service.

The Premier Inn was really clean & the plus room was well equipped. The rooms were nice and dark at night and quiet. Perfect location to stay when visiting our friends & Barton Grange with good easy access to main roads. The car park has plenty of free space. However, the breakfast was not good in an adjacent chef and brewer. The pub needs a deep clean, lots of dust and was grubby. The crockery had clearly been through a dishwasher but not checked and was put out still dirty. There were no tongs to handle food with and also food listed not available e.g maple syrup and blueberry muffins, as well as the coffee not coming from a machine but from flasks which meant that it was hot as it should be. It's definitely not worth the money. In fact, I would question there hygiene rating based on what I observed. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but not have breakfast at the pub.

Really nice clean premier inn, nice and dark at night also quiet. Really good place to stop.easy access to main roads. Car park plenty of free space. Breakfast not so good in an adjacent chef and brewer.. not worth the money and the eating place was dark and a bit grubby. Would I stay at the hotel.again….. yes Would I recommend ….yes Would I have breakfast…. NO
