I can understand the hotel’s situation, but it would be great if they could add more staff. It seemed they had difficulty estimating the number of guests, so breakfast was insufficient, and they were also short-handed. One staff member was working hard managing both the dining area and the counter at the same time. At the end, she apologized for the shortage of food, which made me feel sorry for them.

There was almost no breakfast. They said their supplies did not arrive. There is a grocery a mile down the road. For $20 they could have had satisfied customers. The lack of consideration for people they promised breakfast was unbelievable. They didn’t even have butter for the breads they had. We have three more days of travel and did not book a Fairfield or Marriott because of today lack of breakfast.

Manager Cassie was very helpful and accommodating. I know she was busy with non stop calls from other customers because the whole town had no water but she was great.

We had to wait a while for a front desk person to come & get us checked in. She said she was working alone that day, and wasn’t sure if our room was ready. Cheryl was kind, personable and efficient as always, but I could sense her frustration at not being able to wait on me more quickly. The room was fine, except there were places in the shower that appeared to have mold in the corners. Breakfast was good, as always.
