We had to wait a while for a front desk person to come & get us checked in. She said she was working alone that day, and wasn’t sure if our room was ready. Cheryl was kind, personable and efficient as always, but I could sense her frustration at not being able to wait on me more quickly. The room was fine, except there were places in the shower that appeared to have mold in the corners. Breakfast was good, as always.

Traveled to Synder to visit my son who is attending Western Texas College. Upon checking in, the hostess was not pleasant. She didn’t welcome me and not even after I gave her my Marriott Member ID. She didn’t smile or recap my stay nor shared any information about the area/good eats or things to do. The elevator motor needs to be replaced. I had to use the stairs as it didn’t feel safe using the elevator. The ice machine on the 2nd floor
is broken. The floors were dirty and need to be vacuumed. The room has an odor. Definitely not satisfied with my stay as this hotel did not meet Marriott standards.

The stay was amazing. Only thing shampoo was empty but it was just a call to be replaced. This is our second time staying here and will come back again on our next trip.

When we arrived (9 pm) there was no parking and no one at the front desk. The receptionist finally came and checked us in, get to room and the door was propped open - weird. There were no towels, no kleenex, and the door would barely close (only with a slam). I ended up having to park across a 4-lane road. Next morning the bad door wouldn’t open and had to go get front desk person again. Elevator, hall carpet, and lobby bathroom were quite dirty. Not our best hotel experience! At least the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

Swimming pool was closed no towels to shower and the staff was rude my daughter was making a waffle and the lady was putting everything away she turned off off the waffle machine.
