For the past five years a wonderful group of Women have been gathering every week to play a friendly, stress free nine holes of Golf. The Course is not perfect, neither are we, but we come back year after year for fun and comradely . A lot of us opt to take a Cart, it makes it easier on those hot Summer Days and to navigate some of the sloped, hilly grades. On occasion some of us end up getting a Cart solo, sharing a Cart is preferred at this Club. Why I am writing this is to express my disgust at Rick Fleming for approaching us on our last Hole of the Season to reprimand two of the Ladies who had each gotten a Cart instead of sharing one. They were each charged for the Cart and it wasn’t busy so I don’t understand the issue. The fact that he drove up in his Cart with his sour looking face basically ruining the Event is beyond rude, Instead of thanking us for supporting his Golf Course and asking how the Season went and suggesting he is looking forward to seeing us again next year he crept up like a Stalker and displayed his sheer arrogance and reinforced the fact that he is “the Owner”. Well “Owner” you’ve just lost a number of faithful Players and I trust there will be more to lose. You might want to hold off on purchasing any more Carts, you might not need them.

I would like to start by saying that our group of 15 ( 4 units), all had a great time. Staff were very friendly. My unit had some issues. Fridge was on max. and barely kept the contents cold, kitchen sink faucet was so loose you needed two hands to turn on the water, bathroom sink had no hot water handle, stove lights were both broken, TV did not work, toilet you needed a plunger to get it to work. Sounds hard to believe but we had a nice time. Issues were reported but could not be fixed during our three night stay. I would still go back. Just unfortunately we got a poor unit.

no way to reach somebody after 5 pm I asked some body for ici machine and they didn't t know not a lot insulation for sound between room luckily my neighbour was going to bed earlier

We really enjoyed our stay and our room! The bed was so comfortable. The jacuzzi was nice. The room really nice and practical with a little kitchen. The room was clean and we felt like home during our stay !!! On top of that , they worked alot on the snow removal on this weekend of winter storm! They really did a good job. The girl at reception, Lisa, was really kind and helpful. We will come back.!!!

I liked the size of the rooms and the convince of being able having everything you need to cook and having all the items you need away from home.

Buildings are not new, but they are like appartmemts with full kitchen and a huge patio. The 2 single beds were a bit surprising but being tall, they were at least long enough. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Calabogie is a very beautiful area.

酒店回复: Thanks Gaby for your review. It is possible to put the single beds together for a King bed if you prefer that in the future. We are definitely blessed with our location which has a great view of Calabogie Lake.

The golf grounds are vast, beautiful and impeccably maintained. Management provides attentive and friendly service. Unlike impersonal big hotel chains, we met people who truly know the meaning of hospitality at Calabogie Highland Golf Resort. Joanne accommodated my last minute booking and late check-out. She responded promptly to my texts even the one I sent her at 5:30 am about late check-out. The golf manager was very kind to my seven year old grandson who wanted to try the driving range for the first time. He lent him his daughter's clubs. Yes, the units are a little tired with a few bumps here and there but all the essential is provided. The king sized bed was comfortable, we had more than enough towels, the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief in this heat wave. Furthermore, the price of our two-bedroom unit was quite competitive. I would recommend booking the top unit, though to avoid hearing other guests above and to enjoy more privacy. Balconies are spacious; ideal to enjoy meals on a sunny day! Note: their swimming pool is closed but nearby Barnet Park has a lovely beach including a playground for the little ones. We will return.
