Deluxe room was spotless, however, the shower mixer failed to cool the water to a comfortable temperature.
Also, we were unable to switch off the air conditioner fan overnight and understand that we should have been instructed on its operation.
Both these issues were reported to management.
Staff were very courteous and service was excellent.
Overall a very pleasant stay at an excellent hotel.

Great room and staff. Very clean and nice area to be in near the harbour. No elevator which was ok for us but just to acknowledge it if it’s an issue. Parking was difficult due to the street being closed!

Really enjoyed the selection at breakfast. Was kindly upgraded to a deluxe room with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Comfy bed with nice linens etc. A lovely stay.

Wonderful location near sea front. Hotel rooms are modern and very spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable

Always a good stay here. Room was nicer than the last time we visited, staff are always friendly although the young waitress seemed very quiet. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times as i couldnt hear her. Other than that its a great stay. The bar staff are good and makes a wicked whiskey sour. Well worth a try. Parking is a waste of time. Only 6 spaces so you will be lucky.

The Hotel du Vin is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Our room was spacious, clean and airy. The bed was comfortable and the linen was crisp and white. We had a fantastic hot and powerful shower in a large bathroom.
