“Absolutely shocking conduct from the receptionist. I walked into the hotel and instantly felt terrible the atmosphere was downright hostile. I was nothing but polite, yet she was aggressive, rude, and completely devoid of any basic sense of hospitality. To make matters worse, I was actually told off for parking my car outside while I was just trying to bring in my luggage. This is my first day, and the atmosphere is already terrible. I stay in hotels all over the world, and this is, without question, the most unwelcoming place I have ever encountered. And the worst part? I still have two more dreadful days to endure.”

Put up in Hilton Humberside following flight cancellation. Fortunately, whole experience made really pleasant by friendly accommodating staff, in particular, Finn, behind the bar - great lad.

I sincerely apologise and have already spoken with the team highlighting that the level of service you received is not acceptable. We serve food from the Hub on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, along with Touchdown restaurant Monday to Thursday, therefore I have asked for feedback from the team members on shift as to why this was not offered. The worst check-in experience I have had in probably over 20 years with Hilton. The lady who checked us in was the manager on duty and was extremely rude. When we approached the desk she was on the computer and it took her time to look up and when she did, she was very abrupt. I advised I had a check in and my name and I had paid for parking. She berated me for having paid for the parking online as it is a separate identity and it should not have been done that way. When I said to her that it was part of the booking experience, she basically called me out in a very aggressive manner. I am 75. I had driven six hours to get to this hotel and was tired so I snapped back and said don’t talk to me that way. I have only followed the online booking system. She then said she would take care of the parking just give her my registration, which my wife did. When I questioned her about her attitude and the fact that she did not recognise me as a Hilton member, she got uptight again and told me not to talk to her in that manner. Extremely rude and I will now decide whether to continue my Hilton membership. During this trip from Australia to UK we had visited Taiwan and a very good experience at Hilton. We also visited Dusseldorf excellent experience. We then visited the Hilton Stockton extremely good experience. however, the Hampton Inn at Hull airport was absolutely disgusting and the lady at reception made me feel very old and decrepit after accusing me of being rude. This was boarding on elder abuse. She should take the shoe off and put it on the other foot. I will not be recommending this hotel to anybody else. When asked for the senior manager she reluctantly said Ben and did say what was his last name and she reluctantly gave me his last name knowing that I would be reporting this matter to him. If you look at the overall rating on this hotel it is at 3.9 and will be going down even further. My advice is to not come to this hotel. There are far better. On a positive note we had dinner at The touchdown restaurant and the manager their Agnes was absolutely five star and I would recommend the restaurant but not the hotel. My advice stay away do not come to this hotel.

We were unexpectedly stranded at Humberside Airport after our vehicle broke down, with no local transport, closed amenities on-site, and nowhere nearby to get food or supplies. The staff at Hampton by Hilton Humberside were nothing short of amazing. Laura and Michelle, especially, went above and beyond — checking in on us, helping with medical dietary needs, even contacting local garages on our behalf. Despite the challenges, they constantly made sure we were looked after and had everything we needed. This wasn’t just customer service — it was real human kindness. We’ll never forget how they helped us during a really stressful time. Thank you, truly.

God but bad breakfasts
A nice Hotel but again the breakfast was not okay, nearly no bread, no cheese and the girl there taking care of it just stand in reception and talking with the people for 30 min , after we was finished we cut not find space for the dirty things she still talking and din’t care about the buffet, but the reception staff was where friendly and helpful / service minded
