Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, nice dinner & breakfast. Cold room which didn’t bother me really BUT a really poor shower which is always a big disappointment, electric with lack of pressure and very inconsistent temperature … scalding or baltic!

Old friends reunion
Overall very good although the breakfast was a little disappointing. Our room was lovely and very comfortable and the overall decor of the lodge was excellent. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We shall be visiting again.

To arrive for early check in and the receptionist didn’t know we’d booked early check in despite ringing days before. Paid and still our room wasn’t ready in time. In the reception there was a Labrador lovely, but spitting up food all on the floor and wasn’t cleared up at all. Food wasn’t great, greasy cold breakfast. Not a place I would return to for the price.

我们提前55分钟到达办理入住手续，却被突然告知如果现在入住需要支付提前入住费。我们后来才回来，发现办理入住的人对我们前面的人非常粗鲁。你需要携带身份证件，这样他们才能复印，然后用你的信用卡扣50英镑，但他们也不接受非接触式支付。
要到房间需要爬很陡的楼梯，而且房间（据说是那里最好的）简直糟透了，墙壁剥落，到处都是电线，墙纸也剥落。你能感觉到床垫里所有的弹簧，被子很薄，刚好盖住床。
然后去洗澡，水从滚烫的热水变成了冰冷的热水，根本没法好好洗澡，也没法让孩子在里面洗澡。
入住时被说服订了早餐，10.50英镑，包含1块干培根、1个鸡蛋、1根香肠、一桶豆子、1个西红柿和一些蘑菇。真希望我们去当地的咖啡馆。
我住过很多酒店，但从未体验过如此糟糕的服务。
前台花了很长时间才确认我的到来，而且非常不热情。
虽然我预订了晚间客房，但房间在我到达前没有开暖气，所以房间里非常冷。
我经常查看评论，只能推测这些评论是家人和朋友写的，因为我的期望值远远没有达到。
我晚上8点30分就退房了，尽管我抱怨过，但前台似乎根本不在乎我是否入住。
我真不敢相信一家酒店竟然能这样对待顾客。
总而言之：粗鲁、肮脏、寒冷、不愉快的经历，千万不要住在那里。
如果可以安排，我希望获得退款。

窗帘很薄，窗外直接就是路灯。凌晨4:30左右就醒了。照片是半夜拍的。
第二天换了个有热水的新房间，还退款了，但我不会再去了。
