This is an older facility but in generally good condition. Hair dryer in my bath did not work, and staff person who handled check-in and checkout was not particularly friendly. Walls are rather thin, which disturbed my quietude when I could hear people in the hallway and in the next room. Even so, I am not sorry I chose to stay at this facility for a weekend retreat.

New Harmony is a unique place to visit. This is our 3rd time. The staff at the in were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet though not the most comfortable.

No breakfast is offered at this time, and I could not get the coffee maker in the room to work, which was a big problem for someone who likes to sit around and contemplate for a while. Another issue, which the front desk tried to help with, was no cell phone service through my not-at-all-obscure carrier. This is the first time ever I rated the Inn less than stellar, but it seems to me to be slipping. I also was disappointed that the little chapel off the lounge in the entry building was filled with furniture and not accessible to me; also there was no reason for the lounge not to be open to guests since the people who occupied it were few and could have been accommodated elsewhere.

The room was very nice, quiet and clean. The sauna room was cozy, the pool was nice and outback of the property was gorgeous and nice for photography.

The room and hallways were clean but the hallways smelled musty and the furniture in hallways was sorely in need of updating. The ice machine was in the basement which appeared to be where cleaning and maintenance equipment was stored. Odd. The grounds were not as well maintained as when we were there in 2022. It is a very serene and quiet location, love the area and town. Very peaceful but property in general needs an update.

The bathroom was not clean, there were long black hairs on the floor and in the shower. TV did not work. Coffee machine with coffee but no creamers or sugars. Beds uncomfortable and you can feel every spring. Sensors on the pillows? Really can you get anymore cheap? The area around the property is beautiful and close to everything. I really expected more from the New Harmony Inn.
