Amazing staff. The location is right where you want to be to experience downtown Macon at your fingertips. Short walking distance to 5-star restaurants, corner bistros, nightlife, Art galleries and so much more.

Hotel was clean and in good condition, overall. The parking situation, however was a huge negative. The valet price is now $45/day for overnight, which was not reflected on ******* or the hotel website. Add in tips and that adds up to a pretty substantial charge, with no viable alternative close by. At the room rates, parking should certainly be included.

I always stay at the Forty-Five. The staff, food, bar and coffee shop are all great. The only consistent negative is the valet parking. They do not help with luggage, it’s always slow, and they just aren’t overly helpful.

When I arrived after traveling, the hotel had overbooked and had given my room to someone else and they pushed me off to a lesser Hilton across town. No concessions made and Marriott customer support said it was my fault for showing up at 11PM.

Great hotel, converted from an old bank. Located near the heart of thevtown. Staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi access a little fiddly but otherwise great stay.

First off, the king room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and had great amenities. That’s where the positives end. There were a lot of weird things about our stay that were off. For example, even though I paid in advance through *******, I ran a credit card at check in for incidentals, then later in the evening we couldn’t charge our bar tab to our room because they couldn’t access the fact that I ran a credit card at check in. Also the elevator key system didn’t consistently work, and at one point we could get the elevator to do TO THE MAIN LOBBY, let alone the floor where our room was located. My husband had to get his key card re-programmed 3 times in a less than 24 hour stay. Then, on the morning of our departure, the television suddenly didn’t turn on. Little things add up, and at this price point I’d expect consistency.
