I chose to stay at Zoetry hoping to have a great experience, however the hotel don’t meet expectations. Staff was definitely catering to white guests more than people of color. Service at “The Bloom” restaurant was terrible. Options are very limited at this resort for food. The plus is there’s access to Dreams & Ilhara via golf cart so you do not have to just stay at Zoetry. There are A LOT of mosquitoes in the rooms, which I’m actually not used to on vacation, I would expect them to be more outside. So bring bug spray if you choose to stay here. Overall I would not stay here again & would not recommend.

The resort itself is beautiful. The experience was poor. Staff is inconsistent in terms of customer service. Some staff would not speak or greet at all, and several members would go out of their way to help white guests (the majority of guests were white) but gave me substandard service as a person of color. This was especially apparent in the restaurant (but not limited to there), where the staff went out of their way to back each other up when they helped white patrons. I had to wait forever for my food, was served on one occasion burned food, and never got backup or any of the flare the white guests got. I go out of my way to be polite and say please and even tipped generously so my treatment was never a question. I wound up leaving breakfast after never being acknowledged. The one exception was someone I believe was a manager who checked on me, especially one day after I never received my room service order.
Also there was no hot water my entire 5-night stay. This is unacceptable and unsanitary. I was offered a different room but it had the same issue. The hot tub and spa also were cold water. Boiler was out. I could not wash my hair and it made my spa treatments miserable. The spa is nice but not a luxury experience. The upsell genie is pointless because appointments are not held and I had to stay on the concierge about scheduling repeatedly what I had reserved. The resort is more concerned about selling vacation packages than the experience. It was a stressful trip.

Food variety could’ve been better it was the same options every single day. Annoying cat that was around everyday during lunch time don’t want a cat around while I’m eating. Hot water was not hot at all during my stay. Didn’t get my welcome bag until the day i left after asking multiple times. Paid for 80 min massage for my wife didn’t get our full 80 mins at all bar tenders was great. They cleaned our room n refreshed our towels 3 times a day.

第一天的菜品不错,第二天也差不多。但也就到此为止了。我点了班尼迪克蛋,里面的荷包蛋看起来像煮熟的鸡蛋。鱼肉很硬,皮也湿漉漉的。法式洋葱汤里没有硬皮面包,汤里也没有,上面也没有融化的奶酪(或者根本没有奶酪)。味道糟透了。Panera 的法式洋葱汤更好吃。哎哟。我丈夫的海鲜汤里有一只漂浮的虾,味道寡淡。
餐饮服务
上菜很慢,食物和饮料等了很久才上来。晚餐时点的饮料在晚餐上桌后才上来。
泳池/便利设施
泳池很干净,有很多椅子和毛巾。健身房里有几台机器或设备坏了,上面没有任何通知。
VIP服务
200美元的代金券包含几张优惠券,可以用来购买酒窖里的葡萄酒立减10美元,享受一次按摩立减40美元,或者在一次专属餐饮活动中享受60美元的折扣。完全不值得。
