I was in NY for my anniversary and stayed here for 3 days. My first impression of the neighborhood was disappointing but this hotel is the one blooming flower in the area. After a short 3-5 min walk from the Nordstrand subway station, check- in was fast and easy. The staff was courteous and informative when I had questions about what's in the area. I was able to get a good nights' sleep every night I was there. The continental breakfast was good. It was a decent sized room and bathroom. Very clean! The fridge's thermostat knob was broken; after a call from the front desk, they came and fixed it right away. Overall, the area is in a convenient location, the hotel staff and room was great, and I enjoyed my time there.

I stayed for a week and will stay again the next time I need to be in Brooklyn. The staff was courteous and professional, the room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was delicious, and most importantly - I was able to park in the gated parking at night (for an additional small fee). The room was quiet and the train sounded more like white noise. The bed was very comfortable. On the negative side, the TV has only basic channels which wasn't a big deal. The neighborhood isn't great - it's a commercial area with garages but I felt safe walking in the area during the day. There were no instructions in the bathroom how to turn on the shower - basically you need to turn on the water and pull down the tub spout. I did not expect that. Other that that everything was great. The market in the corner had a huge menu for take out lunches/dinners if you want to eat in the room. The room has a small fridge, microwave, and a coffee machine. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

I came down to NYC to spend a few days with friends and to help out one friend who's having issues with her nonagenarian Mother. I booked this hotel in a gentrifying neighborhood in Brooklyn to save on cost, and the hotel itself is good if a bit small (as you'd expect in New York City, where space is at a premium). Parking is a small area in the back of the hotel which wasn't easy to maneuver with my SUV, but again not surprising for New York City. However, the night security guard spent more time sleeping than watching the door (since I came in late at night and often left late at night to grab some food), which he locked while he dozed off so entering and leaving was a trial. Because I was coming in late I usually left in the early-mid-afternoon, and was unable to get Housekeeping to come in and make up my room unless I told them a day in advance when I planned to be out. As for the location? The neighborhood's gentrifying - but it's a mix of old residential a block or two away and a lot of auto repair businesses on the main drag where the hotel is, which means it's pretty much deserted at night. I could not imagine my ex-wife staying here and feeling safe, especially if she had to take public transit back after 9 PM at night. Maybe if I'd taken public transit I'd have felt better about the location for travel between Brooklyn and Manhattan, but taking my car meant it was a minimum hour's drive from the hotel to Greenwich Village 6-1/2 miles away as the neighborhoods had what felt like a 24/7 traffic jam. Had I taken the M train with runs on an elevated platform right outside the hotel, I might have felt better about getting to and from the hotel. I don't think any of these problems are unfixable - they just need a more alert staff and once the neighborhood's a bit less sketchy this will be a good place to stay as it's a short public transit/long walk to the growing Brooklyn cultural center. It just didn't work out for me.... The good news is that most of these problem

Hotel is located in the busy section of Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn. We stayed for 2 nights to attend the festival. Staff were very friendly fromnthe front desk, security and housekeeping. They offer a great breakfast selection and the staff had the breakfast area well stocked and clean. The hotel is very clean and beautiful inside. There is a small parking area for about 12 cars, and there is a fee that is not included with your stay. I had a great time with no issues. I will return to this hotel in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm heartbroken because this property, although it is in a challenging location, has the sweetest staff and has been contracted to be used by the city for a housing situation. I'm praying that the hotel will be restored after this reassignment of purpose. I've been coming here for a few years since moving out of NYC, and there are repeat guests who make this their home while we visit family or handle other business.

Apparently this hotel allows "long term" guests as the woman next to me was staying a while and had her TV up full blast all night the first night I was there. She was taking a full laundry basket to the laundromat when I left. Also, this area is sketch.....don't stay there alone. And don't go out at night.

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 4 en route from JFK to Manhattan. Taxi from JFK was less than $50 including tip. Check in was smooth and staff friendly. I did notice a bath tap on the check-in counter....... The room was a little cramped with 2 queen beds, a tight squeeze to get into the bathroom as the door wouldn't open fully because of the bed. Otherwise the room was clean, as was the bathroom. I'd been a little worried from some of the previous reviews about the train noise, as our room was overlooking the station below, but we never really heard much although that could have been helped by the jet-lag! It took me quite a while to work out how to use the shower, that's when the tap at check-in made sense! The location was good for access to the train and the subway was only a couple of blocks away (Nostrand Ave.) Buffet breakfast was good, well-stocked and plenty of choice. Overall I'd definitely stay here again.

Great customer service and conveniently located to train stations. My family stayed for two days and we all enjoyed our stay. All staff members went out of their way to run a quality operation. Parking on site was very convenient.
房间很吵。令人惊奇的是,所有两居室均位于道路和火车一侧!由于网络问题,已经两天没有 Wifi 了!负责早餐的人非常不友好。只有接待人员很热情,并尽力减少重大缺陷。
