At first glance, Livaana will impress you. The fittings, furniture, ambience are all very modern and classy. Then you notice the details. They don't seem to dust regularly. Even though we checked in at 9pm, there was a thin layer of dust on the mirrors and tables. The bathroom window had been left wide open like an open invite to insects. The towels were dirty. The mugs, kettle, and water jug clearly hadn't been washed thoroughly. Our fan ran only on two speeds: off or full blast. When we pointed it out, the receptionist asked the sole housekeeping person, who instantly replies, "Call electrician, not my job." Then we were told to use the AC (it was a cold night and we just wanted a slow-moving fan). Some tips: 1) Get your own towel and essentials. They are severely short staffed. Wait times for even the most basic asks is very long. 2) Be ready to keep the windows shut at all times. The buildings are so close, you can jump across to the neighbouring building's window. 3) The approach road is very narrow. Taxis and autos will come there, but a private vehicle may have parking issues. Check beforehand with hotel if you need space. 4) One tea or coffee in the morning is complimentary... machine made. There are no sachets provided in the room. Overall: Stay if it's for one night and you want a conveniently located place. Apart from the issues I mentioned, the bedding was indeed clean. It's a pity that they've invested so much in getting the hard product right but none at all for the soft product.

We had a great 3-day stay at Livaana Hotel Mysore. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-kept, and the atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. A big thank you to Mr. Moeen and Mr. Santosh for their outstanding hospitality. Both were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Their warm and attentive service truly made us feel at home and added a personal touch to our experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mysore. We’ll definitely choose Livaana again on our next trip!

We stayed for a day - easy checkin, well done room, excellent air conditioning and neat washroom. The hotel is in a narrow lane and I was a little doubtful on the quality first. It lived to my expectations. Con: No designated parking, you will have to park on the road and you will easily miss the lane. On a busy day, with a car, this is the road that you don’t want to mess with.

Neat room, comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning in the room. We saw a lot of families staying in this hotel. Con: this hotel is located in that narrow lane and car parking must be done on the road. It’s very hard to take the vehicle or park as the entire lane is filled with the cars of this hotel.

The hotel is located in great locality and the staff were pretty helpful specially Uma who was very helpful from booking the hotel to check in and check out process It’s a nice place to stay. The food and facilities are great.

This hotel has great service and is situated in a good central location in the city. There is lots of delicious food nearby (if you are not too high maintenance) and the rooms are pretty and very luxurious! Good food, quick roomservice, great coffee and the rooms are large and clean. But above all, the staff is wonderful! They have a lot of information on what sites to visit and even more than that: they are kind, friendly and welcome strangers with an open heart. I would like to thank my friends Janashdan and Sachin. They were very helpful at any time of the day to help plan the sightseeing. They also have wonderful tips on the hidden treasures of beautiful Mysore. Thanks again guys
