Always a great stay. Beautiful sunrise. Great staff, always very nice. Breakfast is always so good. Much appreciated. Shameka goes above and beyond. Evening dinner is a bonus. Enjoyed my stay at the Hawthorne. Everything went well from checking in to checking out. Staff were very professional. Breakfast was top notch!! Shameka did an excellent job and the honey chicken biscuits....omg!! Delicious!!! Keep up the good work.

Rooms are hardly cleaned. Towels, toilet paper never get replaced. Not “their” job. Dirty Sheets and bedding reused. Only decent thing is the breakfast

Been working for Haliburton for going on 3 years. So that's how long ive been staying at the Hawthorn. Shamika takes such good care of us. she feeds us something different everyday and it's so good. My favorite day is Kielbasa eggs & french toast day. yummy. i say good morning, ask how's she is doing get a plate and go to bed. Nothing like coming in from work tired, get your belly full, shower and bed. she definitely makes you feel at home. Come stay at the hawthorn for the good food & hospitality.

Stopped to get some rest throughout our travels. Great staff for sure. Our room was somewhat humid and musty when we arrived. Overall very clean. I really appreciate the variety of breakfast items as well. Most hotels we stay at, have just breads, muffins, coffee and what not. Hawthorn really goes above & beyond. No issues with checking in or out. Definitely stay again if we travel this way. Thank you.

We appreciated the space and updates to the room. The room was clean and loved the updates to the bathroom. We would definitely choose this hotel again. The breakfast was as expected with the usual cold and hot items. My only criticism is that the beds are a bit firm, pillows were flat, and the sink didn’t drain well, but I’ve stayed at worse places.

What a wonderful stay...the hotel staff is amazing and very accommodating with any and all needs that arose during my stay, even with an unexpected weather event in the area and an influx of out of town workers this staff never missed a beat and made it a enjoyable stay for all guest. Breakfest was great, front desk staff awesome, and housekeeping rocked. If you need a place to stay in the area STAY HERE!!!!!!

At midnight available room still dirty
We arrived at 1115pm with two sleeping children after purchasing "the last room" to hear that we had to wait while they cleaned the room! We sat in the lobby for over an hour. We weren't the only ones waiting either. If I wasn't going to lose the $180 we paid I would've drove another hour to get another room.

wow great rooms, pleasant staff, good breakfast, good showers, comfortable beds nice room, very quite large frig, stovetop burner, etc with cooking items. great location would definitely stay here again there were no down size to this hotel.
