We stayed here due the poor reviews of other parks inside Newcastle. Right beside the ocean, so great location and close to catch the ferry across the harbour. The amenities are great, the kitchen is superb! However it is expensive! $100 a night for 2A2C is the most we’ve paid anywhere unless it’s like Cairns with a full water park etc. This park has nothing of the kind to command such a premium, other than supply and demand.

We stayed in a villa, beds were comfortable, the kitchen good (a bit worn), the shower is accessible - the shower head a bit hard to get under especially if you are taller. I would recommend the park if you plan to stay a few days, but not for one night if you plan on travelling onwards, as its too far from the highway and the roads to get there from the highway are rough (plus there are roadworks)! We arrived after reception closed (road works delayed us), they will leave a key in the combination lock box - unfortunately the text about this didn't arrive, so we had some moments of panic, but there is a mobile to call. There is no food on-site (a daytime cafe on the edge of the park offers breakfast, coffee). Fortunately there were some takeaways still open on Mitchell st and we had fish and chips. We were driving a motorhome, we had just picked up - so no bedding etc, make sure you call ahead to check parking, as its tight.

We selected the accessibility cabin. The layout, space and access to all parts of the cabin suited our needs perfectly.
Will be booking again.

Beautiful location looking out over the beach with good facilities. The Queen bed was not good at all though. We were there on a monday night and had no dining options for cafes or restaurants. We ended up getting dinner at IGA which is ok, might just be our bad luck that places were closed on that day.

Clean park and sites, great staff, excellent camp kitchen. Easy access to the beach. Be wary with your children, multiple times i used the camp kitchen and the hot plates were left on, could have just been the bogans staying there at that time.

Loved being right on Stockton Beach and having cooking facilities in our cabin. Also, Lexies Cafe just a few cabins away was a lovely little cafe overlooking the beach.
Didn't like the pillows on our bed and would have liked to have been able to see whether our cabin was a beachfront or not as this wasn't described in the booking.

This was our first time with a caravan. The booking process was so easy. The site was very well maintained and so easy to back into. The amenities where so clean and heaps of them. The beach is just there. There is a childrens playground that looked great. We walked around and it was so nice. We caught the ferry and went to Newcastle for the day. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely park.. the sites were well maintained & the ensuite was clean & tidy. It was very close to restaurants which made it easy for us to eat out for a change. Would have loved to go for a beach walk but the rain stopped us ..I can see however it would be quite pleasant in good weather.. will have to come back to check it out !!!
