I missed a connection in ATL and needed a place to stay for just about 3 hours. This hotel was close and available. First, the uber driver couldn't get the gate to open so I had to walk with my luggage from the street. Then I found out that the "24 hour shuttle" advertised on the Bonvoy app was not a 24 hour shuttle. The shuttle wouldn't start running until after I needed to be back to the airport. The 24 hour shuttle is why I picked this hotel. The young lady at the front desk told me that they were trying to get "that corrected on the app." I got to my 6th floor room and went to bed for about 2 hours. I got up to shower and had no hot water in the shower. It ran and ran. I turned on the bathroom sink and let it run, too, still no hot water. Needing a shower badly, I got into the cold water that slowly turned to lukewarm. After showering, I tried to shave but still no hot water in the bathroom sink. The kitchen sink had warmer water but the faucet almost fell off into my hand when I tried to move it. I ended up going back and forth between sinks so I wouldn't have to shave with cold water. Finally I got downstairs and had a very difficult time getting an Uber to come to the hotel at that time of the morning. My first driver canceled after accepting and then it took several minutes for another to pick it up. This was a bad part of a very bad day. The only bright spot was that the night clerk was one of the nicest people I've met at a hotel. I felt bad complaining to her and she was genuinely sorry for both the wrong shuttle info and the cold water. Maybe she should be promoted to manager to have someone who cares about the guests be in charge.

I wrote a review of how my stay at the Townplace Suites in Hapeville, was not inviting. Once General Manager Brody saw the review, he went into immediate action, things got corrected within a day and I can truly say because he showed managerial and customer service skills all while paying attention to the detail of my concerns, I will always invite my family and friends to stay here. It was truly unbelievable how quickly he addressed each issue and corrected them, showing that it wasn't about the money but that my stay would from that day forward be enjoyable. Everything you've done on our behalf is very much appreciated!!

Upon arrival my room was ready and very clean. The amenities and service were always accessible. Convenient transportation to and from all parts of the city and airport no matter the time of day. Easy walking distance to restaurants and convenient shopping. When in Atlanta my choice of hotels TownePlace Suites by Marriott.

This suite hotel has a pool and a comfortable outdoor seating area. Loved the suite felt totally relaxed. Staff was very helpful. I stayed overnight so I did not have to drive to airport in the dark and be in a rush for a 7 a.m. flight. Saved a lot of stress. I would recommend this instead of share rides fees as you can park at Park N Ticket for around $11 per day and free shuttle to and from airport. Then be picked up by Towne Place Suites shuttle for overnight and free shuttle back to airport. I picked up dinner before going to hotel so a great idea since I did not see readily available restaurant. Suites have kitchen and dishes and pans etc. so you could really bring your own food to cook.
