The standard of this hotel was poor. The check-in was not smooth - we had to wait for a room that was not ready - so we were upgraded to a room that was not ready. The bedroom was not fully equipped - no clean towels, no toilet paper and no slippers - all had to be requested - but not given promptly. The following day our rooms were not cleaned and bed linen was not changed - just made up. These were clearly not Best Western Standard. The swimming pool was dirty and the surrounding area had no sunbeds and there was rubbish everywhere. Very poorly maintained. Breakfast was simple and not too much to choose from. The staircase and general cleanliness was poor - I saw a cleaner and her bucket water was so dirty. On Checkout the receptionist could not settle our bill and there was a discrepancy about the payment was settled or not. We left feeling totally unsettled.

We stayed at this hotel from Dec 26 to Dec 29 for golden temple darshan. Lots of concerns in this BW branded hotel : 1. BREAKFAST : Very limited variety. Bad Quality. There are No Table mats on Dining tables. Cockroaches sighted on food, plates. Spilled milk n food is not cleaned up. 2. RECEPTION, ROOM SERVICE : We had to remind and call up repeatedly for improving service and sending towels, glass etc quicky. We had to request for hotwater /Geyser since they do not have hot water throughout the day. They turn off the hot water on their own turned on automatically. Feedback was provided multple times to improve Service, mainteance....But hotel seems understaffed and do not care about feedbacks. Imagine feedback from customers getting noted in Pencil in a rough notebook. No Dental Kit, Shower Gel is provided in bathroom. It is Only upon persisting requests. For 3 adults, they provided just 1 bathtowel. They do not do Room cleaning on their own. Reception staff doesnt pick up phone. Mutipe task done by receptionist as Room delivery person, Breakfast attendant etc. Bathrooms are not maintained, leakages in Urinals tap. 3. LIFTS : Lifts are not maintained properly. Full day it was shut down under maiteance. The lift display board has big white plaster tape with hand written. Imagine a 4 star hotel of reputed BW brand with such management. 4. Servicing is very slow. Seem to be understaffed and doing cost cutting. Hotel guard keeps luggage in 2nd floor room. Leaving security unattended compromised during that time. Please avoid staying in this hotel. Thinking its a Best Western brand, you will regret.

The overall experience fell far below basic hospitality standards, and I feel it’s important to bring these issues to your attention. Room & Stay Experience: My room was poorly maintained and far from comfortable. The cleanliness was inadequate, with visible dust, unclean surfaces, and worn-out amenities. Noise disturbances throughout the night made it difficult to rest, and requests for assistance were either ignored or significantly delayed. I expected a much higher level of care and professionalism from your staff. Stayed for 3 night no one come to even ask for cleaning or replenish the amenities , asking for water it take 3-4 hours just 2 get 2 bottles of water . Food & Beverage Service: The dining experience was equally unsatisfactory. The service was slow and disorganized, with staff appearing uninterested and unprepared. The food quality was extremely poor—dishes were either cold, lacking flavor, or not prepared as described on the menu. On top of that, several items listed on the menu were unavailable, which added to the frustration. Order my food for 3 days from room service , it take usually 1-2 hours to get your food , a simple dal and rice take them 1hour , 35 minutes , have to call reception so many times to check for food. Overall Impression: This stay was far below the standard I anticipated. The combination of poor room conditions and disappointing food and beverage service made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar problems

It was a very very bad room and it looked like pillows and bedsheets were used. Never book this hotel at Amritsar! We were really tired and wanted good sleep before leaving for New Delhi next day.

I stayed at Best Western Plus Amritsar during the long weekend of 2nd October. The booking process was smooth and hassle free. Pictures uploaded at the website were pretty good and the rooftop pool and gym too looked fine. However, when we landed at the Hotel, we found the reality to be completely different. The pool and Gym were told to be closed for "Work in progress" although nothing of this sort was mentioned at the time of booking and both were told to be operational and running. On enquiring, the front desk mentioned that due to rain last evening, the pool has been closed but there was no definite answer for closure of Gym. The front desk was not being managed by any professional and we found different people attending front desk at different time zones. We even found Valet attendant catering to front desk at one given point of time!! The ordeal didn't ended here. The breakfast spread in the morning was abysmal and poor. We even found a dead cockroach in corn flakes. Bed linen was dirty and seemed to not have been washed for ages. Same menu was repeated in Breakfast both days and there was acute shortage of condiments. Room service was damn poor and actually it looked like that Hotel is being run by a bunch of non professionals under the guise of Great Western Brand. Will not recommend stay at this place ever!!

Very nice stay at hotel best western plus Amritsar.... Rooms are very specious, neat and clean, Breakfast is very nice ........Front office staff is very helpful and polite.......Specially Ms. Mehak, Ms. Sarabjit and Mr. Rohit they are helped us lot while our stay......

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel in Amritsar. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all modern amenities. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the comfort of the bed – perfect after a long day of exploring the city.
One of the best parts of the stay was the food. The in-house restaurant served delicious local and international dishes, and the breakfast buffet was generous and varied. I also enjoyed the serene ambiance of the rooftop area, offering a beautiful view of the city.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the Golden Temple and other major attractions, which made sightseeing extremely easy. The front desk staff were also helpful with arranging transport and giving local recommendations.
