Whist the general communal areas where all good and the staff were very friendly, the rooms themselves were definitely NOT five star but at best, 3*
The rooms are VERY tired and desperately need refreshing. Broken floors, mirrors and toilets that don't flush amongst other issues. After the first of three nights stay we wanted to checkout and shift to the Radisson but were offered a THIRD room; yes, we'd already experienced problems in two rooms.
We decided to stay. I also asked that as a gesture of goodwill that they do a bag our laundry (their standard laundry bag) on a complimentary basis, which they agreed. After receiving our laundry back, we also received a bill in excess of INR 5000. After being challenged, they did discount the bill but nonetheless, they charged me for something they agreed would be a goodwill gesture.
Overall, other than the rooms, it's not a bad place but if you'd like to sleep in a 5* room, don't bother booking here.

Mattress was uncomfortable, comforter is so dirty I showed the pic to manager , nobody bothered to help perhaps being request to change it. Staff at front is respectful. It is decline in quality of Parkplaza legacy within 5 years as compared when I stayed in Chandigarh. I hope management will come up with better initiative to improve.

Don’t book here room online, they charge again for room when you reach there saying that we did not receive payment from *******. And tell refund is gonna happen in 24 hours, then during checkout they say it’s gonna take 1 week.

“A Childhood Dream Turned Nightmare – Never Again!”
After 9 years, I finally traveled to India and was excited to stay at this hotel I had always heard about as a kid. I had high expectations, but they let me down at every turn.
• Late Check-Out? Denied. I requested it a month in advance (and was willing to pay extra), only to be told the hotel was “fully booked.” Fine, we agreed to regular check-out.
• Basic Amenities? Missing. Our room had one towel, no hand towels, no toilet paper—I called twice and waited 1.5 hours for absolutely nothing.
• Relaxation? Not Happening. The sauna, hot tub, pool—everything shut down. The bar? A ghost town.
• Food? Below average. Not worth the hype.
• The Final Insult? They broke the wheel on my luggage while handling it.
This wasn’t just a bad experience—it was a waste of money. Never again.
