Tree of Life Marari is a peaceful beachside retreat with private beach access that made our stay truly special. This is a very quiet secluded beautiful spot. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We have scored it 3 as the hotel owners need to invest in the hotel or reduce the price. The bungalows and furniture inside (and out) are all tired. There is a local boat business next to the hotel on the beach and unfortunately when we were there it was very noisy … lots of drilling and banging. This was not conducive to chilling on the beach. I suspect we were just unlucky but the hotel did not seem to recognise that noise might be abit tricky for some people who perhaps had come to their hotel for peace.

Beautiful beach, delicious local food, friendly helpful staff. Loved our stay and would recommend for a relaxed beach experience with friends. Ask for a room with the outdoor shower which are spectacular - canopy beds are also a lovely feature

Beautiful serene environment, away from noise of city, spacious rooms, super clean ambience, superb food. Thoroughly enjoyed the 7days, 6nights stay at this property. Staff is very courteous, helpful and always cheerful. We had wonderful holiday & new year celebration!

We family a group of 10 adults and 3 kids visited the marari sand resort in April 2025 for two days. We stayed in 4 rooms with a pool view.In my view this property is good for guests from abroad and those who just want a silent beach stay and those customers who don't have much specific requirement on facilities and amenities. The entrance road to the resort also not good and riding at night for the first time feels odd. The main highlight of the property is direct beach access however the sea is steeper on that side making it risky to get down especially with kids.The complimentary breakfast was also found missing for a good package that we booked. However they provided a complimentary dish of 5 curd rice we ordered on one day. The paid breakfast buffet arranged was ok. The live kitchen counter near the breakfast area was not there. They took orders and went inside to make the same making the buffet not live. The food was ok. The cost of all food in the menu seems to be on the higher side. We feel staff were not so keen to take orders of the ala crate menu as they said they have only less staff to manage the food requirement of all the customers . We have taken food outside at a budget friendly hotel nearby. They have In door activities like carom board, table tennis only. They have provided cycles to ride and rackets to play badminton. The outdoor play area for volleyball is there. But the ball is old to play. The wood swing and web swing in the beach area is good to relax. The swimming pool size is ok to accommodate 10people at a time but the maintenance of the pool is not good. The kids pool is also small. Near the pool and the bath area is full of dust and leaves with the same dust on the leg we have to get into the pool. Small dried leaves were present in the pool. The roof of one of our rooms was leaking during the rain on the night. The water inside the flush tank comes in slight yellow colour may be due to recycled water.The intercom facility was also not available in rooms.We have to call the manager for all requirements in mobile only. And service available from morning 8 to night 10 only. The dampness on the floor which may be due to the near sea always makes the room dirty during foot steps. Overall the stay was ok but i feel the management has to put some more effort in maintaining the property to attract more local travel lovers also.

酒店环境确实绝佳（拥有美丽的海滩），但房间与价格不符，实在令人遗憾。泳池似乎漏水，而且水位也不高。总之，他们或许应该增加一些投入。员工热情友好（但这在喀拉拉邦是常态，否则我们法国人真应该去接受一下客户服务培训！），餐厅也还不错，虽然价格比我们去过的其他地方略高。
