Deshadan Mountain Resort is separate and The Cliff Resort is separate, may be both are managed by the same owner but just be mindful while booking. Deshadan is located on the top most point with good food and excellent service. Also Jilju at the reception is very helpful and always available. All the staff is friendly, quick and very helpful. The best resort I have visited till date. Excellent location - as the name suggests, the resort is literally on top of the world. Excellent food and very courteous staff. Highly recommended for a relaxed vacation. This property is a amazing, the entire staff is very nice. Overall must go place..

This property has a very good location and scenic views but apart from this, the property lacks everything that would make you visit this property again.. I had booked a cottage with two bedrooms for my family.. The rooms and bathrooms are badly maintained in the cottage.. The cottage had old and broken furniture.. Poor interiors.. The bathrooms were sub-standard with old fashioned hand showers.. It just did not appear like a resort’s cottage.. The vibe and the experience that you are supposed to have in a resort’s room was completely missing.. My son had broken a juice glass in the breakfast buffet.. The resort had charged me Rs 250/- for a small glass.. We will normally get 6 glass set in Amazon for Rs 250/- as per what the quality of the glass was.. In my past experiences, I have never seen a property charging for small damages like this until a big one.. I did not resist or argue at the time of payment as the amount is too small to waste energy on and spoil my mood or vacation.. I will have to think really hard next time to ever visit the property again..!!

If I could give more than 5 stars for location then I would. This hotel perches on the side of a mountain almost a mile in the air, during the day the views are magnificent, sometimes even looking down on the clouds but always out across the valley. Service is great, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food, from the extensive breakfast buffet to the evening meals in the restaurant is well made, and very tasty. If you're looking for a stay in Munnar look no further than the Deshadan Mountain Resort

Our stay at Deshadan Mountain Resort was arranged by Orchid's vacations. The Resort is perched on top of the mountain with great scenic views. We had a delightful stay at the resort. The Staff were courteous n accomodating. Food was good. Rooms were spacious n views from the room was breathtaking. Overall we had an enjoyable stay at the resort. Thank you Orchid's Team.

Wonderful place to stay in Munnar! The location is perfect, the staff is friendly and the service is prompt. We enjoyed the food, especially the breakfast spreads. Not only did the rooms have breathtaking views, they were also extremely clean. It was truly a pleasure to stay here.
