Atali, and The Foresterie above it, are absolutely stellar examples of how resort properties should be run. Lovely locations, set on the hillside among tall trees, with activities for those that want them, and peace, serenity, and sunshine for those that just want to catch up on their reading. Great food, outstanding staff, overseen by the very competent Tanya, and ably captained by Jitu bhaiya/Jitu sir/Jitu da variably. Definitely a must visit, and on my list to return!!

Stunning views, lots of nature, a true paradise. The staff were polite, mins and professional in every way. Rooms and bathrooms were clean with good quality furniture and fixtures which made for a high value experience. I would definitely visit again.

Being my second visit after a while - I was secretly hoping the experience doesn’t change and i was happy it didn’t ! Atali is one of the most cosy, picturesque, clean and welcoming resorts I have ever visited. It is unique in its design and location. The people are genuinely warm and authentic and instantly give you a homely feel. The cottages are gorgeous and minimalist - just the way we like. I love the patio with the table and chairs - a space to cosily sit, reflect, write and soak in the natural environment. The white water cafe overlooks Ganga and the hills and offers delicious F&B and bonfire in the evening. The desserts are especially lovely. Yashpal ji at the cafe was very welcoming and helpful always. Also Jayprakash ji and Mohan ji. The resort offers a 3 km hike in the hills which is very refreshing- thanks to vikas who guided us. The vibe is friendly and we chatted with other guests and made friends too which is very rare. Ms Tanya - who mange’s the property is warm and lovely to interact with. The Ganga bank is close and is clean and with no crowds thankfully. Highly recommend ! We will be visiting again.

What magical place. Very clean tidy and staff really good. Loved the views and place. Well worth a visit and stay. I would suggest do the water sport activities, yoga and visit the beach. Loved our stay, peace quiet and very calming.

We were 4 couples- we took four rooms. Very comfortable,neat and clean accommodation-giving one a feel of exclusivity- well furnished and practical. The White Water restaurant is tastefully done. The food is par excellence- both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We even went hiking and enjoyed the forest trek. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Good views too enhance the experience. The swimming pool is vey clean and a real pleasure to enjoy. The spa offers massages.

What an experience! Felt this calm and peace after a long long time.. This is exactly what we were looking for! The view is to die for! And the staff is very courteous! We celebrated our son’s birthday there, and they arranged the cake and flowers for him! It was really sweet of them. We would definitely return. Highly recommended! Thank you for having us!

Atali Ganga is the perfect resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque stay, far away from the maddening crowd. The resorts sits quitely perched upon a hill overlooking the Ganga river, exuding luxury and tranqility. The hospitality is also exceptionally good. The staff is very soft spoken and helpful, add to that- the delicious food served at their in-resort cafe makes this place a real gem in Rishikesh. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Atali Ganga is one of those rare places where you feel genuinely looked after from the moment you arrive. The staff are always smiling, courteous, and genuinely helpful, which sets the tone for the entire stay. The resort is beautifully set on a sloping hillside, making it extremely picturesque, though it’s worth noting that it may not be ideal for guests with weak knees or very young children due to the walking involved. The cottages are clean, well designed, and blend beautifully with the natural surroundings. The food deserves a special mention — excellent, hearty, and thoughtfully prepared. The chef is resourceful and clearly passionate, and every meal felt comforting after a day outdoors. Evenings spent by the fire, enjoying long conversations, were among the most memorable moments of the stay. The location is perfect — close enough to Dehradun airport for a smooth transfer (the pickup and drop facility works very well), yet far away from the noise and chaos of Rishikesh. Being part of a well-organized adventure group adds to the overall experience, whether you’re into activities or simply want to soak in the calm. If you’re looking for a serene, well-run resort with warmth, good food, and natural beauty, Atali Ganga truly delivers.
