We stayed in cottages next to riverside 1112,1113 amazing view nice garden .. decent size rooms with big washroom and a multiple gardens ahead.. beautiful and charming ambience overall Service decent , food decently fine could have more options i believe as for a 3 days stay we felt to order repetitive items only...must stay property for the lovely ambience it offers. Reception , restaurant staff very welcoming and courteous.

Excellent location, one can see and hear Betwa river flowing and also view the pristine jungle on the other side. Expansive and well maintained common areas are marked by beautiful landscaping and lawns. We stayed in the riverside rooms which are comfortable, well laid with period furniture and have a certain character to it. House keeping is good, could be better, rooms are a bit musty. Riverside cottages are comparatively recently made and fresher, but lack character, thelis shortcoming made up by the wonderful lawn in front of the cottages. Local staff is well trained and welcoming. Food is OK. Would have loved to try the in house spa, but had too many places to see in Orchha.... next time!

We had a very good lunch here in this hotel after visiting Orccha castle. The place has a green inner courtyard. toilets are clean.

First off, this hotel looks nothing like the online pictures. It was very old and dated and the surrounding area did not look appealing. Secondly, the check-in was super chaotic with the clerk not accepting the stamped Indian visa in our passports. Not sure what he expected from us, it was supplied by the Indian border. He was also under the impression that the room was for 1 person only while all our hotels were booked for 2. He was demanding that I should contact the travel agency for him. The room was very dated and not all that clean either and it lacked most amenities. And finally there were 3 ring ceremonies on the locations, so it wasn’t quiet at all, at 6 am they were still blowing whistles!! The only reason they got 2 stars was that the food was excellent.

This resort is an ancient maharaja's hunt palace. It maintains it's own charm unchanged. Rooms are furnished 'old style' and even electric switches and sockets seems as original of 1900 Wide and comfortable, the suites have direct access to the river and to the beautiful garden Good restaurant.
