Never recommend this hotel. Very poor hospitality by staff. Never co operate with customers situations. Room service was poor. Did not change towels. We used wet used towels next day . Check in was so stupidly done. Hotel was vacant still gave us very bad location room. Lied about occupancy. And made money changing us additional 30000 rupees per night giving president suite , saying that they don’t have any deluxe room available. We checked and plenty of rooms were available. Also no facilities on the beach even we were ready to pay for chairs and umbrella. We haven’t been on the beach for five days. Just wasted our vacation staying only in room. No sitting even in lawn. Diwali celebration was poorly done. No chairs in lawn to sit. Cheap hotel in facilities and killing us in amount

Started off negative as there were checkin issues, just left waiting and then given the wrong room. But manager Siddhartha sorted and we had a lovely time again.
The pool is currently being redone but only kids side is closed.
Highly recommended.

Great Resort with a few minor issues
This is an amazing hotel. We booked a villa with private pool and it was well worth the upgrade. On a whole the stay was wonderful apart from a few minor points:
1. The staff at the Lobster Village are absolutely miserable. Every else they are fantastic but the team at the Lobster Village are amongst the most unhappy I have ever come across.
2. The bar next to reception is really overpriced. A local larger is 500 rupees yet at all the other bars on the resort its 275 rupees.
3. The hair Salon prices are out of date on the website. a wash and blow dry was advertised as being 1200rupees but was actually 3600 rupees.
As stated these are all minor points as the resort and hotel are outstanding.

Beautiful property, great staff.
Our waiter Mr Gladney was superb, he knew everything on the menu so well & enjoyed our amazing lunch because of him and also the chefs at Taj.
We also loved Mr Cedric the Singer at the hotel, every evening at the pub he saw lovely classic & modern songs , we loved his singing.
We ordered room service & they made us off menu items on request, thank you the the chef & room service team.
Overall highly recommend TAJ, they always go above & beyond expectations. Well done to Taj team.
