We liked staying at Poshpacker although there were some small improvements that could be made. The main one being the bathroom which didn’t have a fan and consequently it smells in the room unless you keep the bathroom door shut which creates more moisture and might be why some other reviewers found mould (we didn’t have any). Other than that a few broken items in the kitchen need replacing. However we would stay here again as the staff were lovely, we had free parking and there is a good atmosphere here. We cooked in the kitchen and had breakfast there so everything was fine. Fabulous location too!

This hostel is located in the middle of the city of La Fortuna and is in a fair distance to most of the attractions and excursions. the managers and all who work at the facility are welcoming and super friendly. get ready for a super fun dance night and happy hour offered by the facility team. in addition, they can schedule tours for you for a cheaper rate. we had an excellent stay!

the overall place and our room were under our expectations for this type of accommodation and value for the money, after having travelled for four months in south and central America. We were also surprised to be asked to move to the hotel next door for our second night and when we asked for the reason, we receive mixed messages. Not a overall pleasant experience

Thank you to Jenny, Jacob and Jackson. We booked a tour and a shuttle with Jenny, best price we found in town. Jacob and Jackson delivered our tour, we picked the most complete tour offered in the area. We did Waterfalls, Volcano hike, Hot-springs and Hanging bridges.

Jenny came through minute and saved our trip and planned a bunch of day trips within seconds. She went out of her way to accommodate our last minute timing. Absolutely amazing and I recommend her services to anyone. Through her, we booked waterfall rappelling, transportation around costa rica, and even found us some food in the local shops to ensure we made it to our activities on time.
