Good value as always. The furthest away from the town centre of the 2 Premier Inn hotels, it is usually the cheaper of the 2 hotels. Inside it is very clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet despite the large Tesco store next door and the 2 main roads just outside. Comfy bed and pillows with a very clean bathroom and shower. The tv is limited, and the restaurant downstairs is basic but also good value for money. The breakfast is excellent, but you need to request vegetarian sausages. There is a meal deal that features both breakfast and evening meal at a good discounted rate. You can book this either before or when you arrive at the hotel. Drinks are limited, and the wine is not very exciting. The main problem is the walk back from the town centre after an evening out. Parking is free whereas the other Premier Inn car park is council run and you now have to pay. £13 for the night, the last time I stayed there. This Premier Inn is close to the train station and 1/2 a mile from the bus station.

I have stayed here a few times now, and each visit has felt just as welcoming as the first. I especially want to give so so much credit to the staff for consistently providing outstanding service. A special thank you to Justin, Lek, and Fran for going above and beyond to make my stay so enjoyable. Thanks for looking after me :) The rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. I would 100% highly recommend staying here!

Lovely breakfast as always -Julias buffet is always hot, fresh and refilled regularly. Justin and Lisa's service is always second to none also. My Son loves a Premier Inn Breakfast to say the least! However-:he's usually picky with Buffet style and prefers plated...But! This buffet has become a new favourite for him as the quality is always on point!

Once again, they never fail to make you feel welcomed. Sophie and the A14 team are absolutely professional through and through. Not able to find a bad note from any of my stays here, and I’m here a lot..!
