The room is comfortable, the staff is excellent and friendly, and all the amenities are lovely. I would have preferred that the coffee bar and diner stay open later, though.

Nice place - for the money - great pool and lounge etc - rooms are tiny but that’s why price . They do provide cheap orange ear plugs to deal with 6 th street noise - haha - not sure if it’s meant to be a joke - it does for loud - and I’d wager Weston across the street has sound proof glass / all in all a good stay

Nice, well equipped and decorated hotel, right in the middle of Austin night life. Great rooftop.

We enjoyed our stay, but if you are looking for quiet night's sleep, keep looking. They do provide white noise machine.

The hotel was an amazing experience. With it being a half block from 6th street this was an easy decision too book. This is two hotels in one. The Tommie and the Thompson. I stayed at the Tommie. I booked a city street view that over looked the pool and city below. The bed was very soft but a little firm. The restroom was an interesting concept as the toliet was separated by the shower by a door but shared the same floor but had a small bamboo pallet to keep your feet dry. Overall would recommend

Impromptu honeymoon when I flight was diverted to Austin from Dallas then delayed 5 hours. Staff was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our first night we ordered room service close to closing but they were super accommodating and even gave us a bottle of wine when they heard what happened.
