Room was good, I was given a safe place to keep my bike, no traffic noise in spite of being above the street. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The "breakfast" was a bit of a rip-off when Wetherspoons over the road did a full cooked breakfast for the same price! For an evening meal, if you're looking for Peterhead Fish with chips etc., the Palace Hotel is nearby with excellent bar meals and friendly staff. I'd definately stay at the Ibis again, minus the "breakfast".

Sadly the term "budget" was very apt. Mattress may as well have been a plank of wood for all the good it was, offered no support at all and left me with sore ribs in the morning, couple that with the fact that the room got so uncomfortably hot, even with the fan and the window wide open, we just couldn't sleep at all

Last visited this hotel when it was Travelodge . Left a review then saying all good apart from carpets which needed replaced so ,as you can imagine ,was horrified to find that despite new owners these very badly damaged carpets are still in place . Other than that all good plus staff extremely helpful and efficient .

We stayed one night at this hotel and found everything fine for a budget hotel. The room was a good size and was clean. The hotel smelled fresh and clean and despite a few signs of wear and tear was a great place for a one night stay. Sharon on Reception was welcoming and helpful and made sure we got checked in quickly and efficiently. A small tip would be if you need to use a hairdryer. You need to collect it from Reception so a good plan would be to get it before you wash your hair! Breakfast is available but it's very basic and comes in a bag!
