My recent stay at Hotel Paradise Inn was far from satisfactory. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The walls have peeling paint, the rooms have a damp and unpleasant smell, and the condition of the toiletries, showerheads, taps, and towels is substandard. Despite our check-in being scheduled for 12:00 noon, we arrived late at 11:30 PM, only to find that the rooms were still not ready. We were given a room supposedly belonging to the director, but the mini-bar fridge was unplugged, and the AC was off. The staff assured us the AC would work, but even after 45 minutes, it didn’t, and they initially refused to change our room, claiming the hotel was fully booked. It was only after multiple complaints and taking the contact details of owner that we were finally shifted to another room. They did apologize but its not what we want and paid for Breakfast was another disappointment, with no service to speak of and below-par quality. While the hotel’s location is convenient, its current state undermines the potential. A complete renovation is urgently needed to improve the guest experience. For now, I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

This hotel was pretty awful. It was freezing cold and no hot water whatsoever. We did ask three times and we were told give it time. The workers slept in the reception area so the noise of them talking travelled through the hotel to late in the night. On the first night at 1am my friend told them to turn off the music, which they did. The whole hotel was dirty and run down. The only positive was that the beds were comfortable and location was near the metro. Staff did try and be helpful but there was always groups of men sitting around the reception area. We booked out after two nights of a three night stay. We would have left immediately but travel plans prevented us doing so.
