We were very impressed with the design level of comfort and the beautiful views from the property. The quality of the amenities,and toiletries in the room where of a very high standard. The breakfast had a good selection of choices and was absolutely delicious. The personal were friendly and couldn’t do enough for the guests. Nothing was too much for them ! The lodge is well run,and maintained. The location is ideally situated between nature valley and Plettenberg Bay,and only 10 minutes drive into town for dinner or the beach. We stayed at the Robberg in Plett,and the Old rectory in Plett,and this was by far the best experience.The manager Mr.Oberholzer is doing a wonderful job,and we would like to thank him and his team sincerely for making our stay so memorable !

What an experience! We had two rooms in the main Lodge and a separate lodge with plunge pool. From the moment of arrival, the team are on hand to make your stay absolutely amazing. The attention to detail in the rooms is second to none - from cakes and a constantly stocked mini fridge with complementary drinks, to fresh fruit and flowers, and always enough clean towels. Breakfast consists of a large continental selection and also cooked options, which includes delicious breads, eggs and wors. The views are stunning, and hearing the lions roaring in the evening is brilliant. If you are looking for peace and quiet in luxury, then Tamodi is where you need to be. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed for 3 nights in November. It is an impeccable lodge, with beautiful rooms and common areas, incredible views and lovely welcoming staff. We booked a year ago and the cost was approx £200 per night for our room, which for the quality was excellent value. We get the impression that the new owners are going to take the lodge more upmarket, so it wouldn't surprise me if prices go up, perhaps they already have. But for ourselves we couldn't have been looked after better, in a great location, close to Plett and just 5 mins from the wonderful Enricos beach restaurant.

We have traveled the world for decades and this was on one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Luxurious private home with all amenities all to ourselves.
